Former NAACP branch president Rachel Dolezal, who lied about being black but still identifies as black, is now jobless, living on food stamps and expects to lose her home next month.
"There's no protected class for me," the former NAACP branch president told The Guardian. "I'm this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on. And I'm a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It's like I am the worst of all these worlds."
Dolezal has applied for over 100 jobs, but has received no offers, even from a supermarket. She has, however, been offered work in porn and reality TV. While a friend helped pay her rent for February, Dolezal expects she'll lose her home next month.

I was writing partly in jest, but seriously: if she's applied to the local supermarket, it sounds like she's at least willing to consider work outside the cuckoo factory in which she's been living. She'd probably prefer to recycle as a professional activist, but most such people eventually grow up. The question is, where and how does such a person restart if they're finally willing to leave the nonsense behind and do an honest job?
I'd keep her away from children, at least until she's ideologically detoxed, but she might make a fine social worker. Or an editor. Or a barista or retail clerk, with high potential to move up in pretty short order. There are 1001 perfectly useful things she could do (assuming she's not out-and-out nuts, which may not be a safe assumption). It would be great if some compassionate conservative gave her a break, and gave her a job in some setting where she couldn't do much harm while she got her feet on the ground and reoriented on jobs in the real economy.

Based on the variety of reality TV shows I have seen my wife watching when I come into the room, there is a shortage of bizarre people in cable TV land, so she could probably be on more than one reality show at the same time. As long as she is getting star billing, the payroll benefit should be enough to live on.

Anyone with a truck and a CDL can make a living in this country. Heck, just a CDL will get you work. By the way, my father came to this country from a communist country where lawyers were not getting hired. At age 50 he went to work at 7-11 to feed his 3 kids.
If “white privilege” exists as she claims, then why can’t she simply use that to her advantage?
