By letting him resign instead? On the one hand it is good IMO for Breitbart to have stood by him, but I think it is actually also good for Breitbart to move on from him—which is what is now happening. They’ll have to work to make up for the traffic they will lose from that, but I think that’s probably better for their position as a legitimate news organization going forward.
My two cents worth..I have a gut feeling this was a shot across the bow to trump by the #nevertrumpers/soros!!! 2nd scalp! STAY STRONG!!
Amazing how so many FReepers seem to be affirming/defending man-boy sex, simply because Milo has been a brave spokesman for free speech.
Me? I find myself kinda hesitant to find solidarity with a guy who brags about how well he performs oral sex, a guy who promotes man-boy sex (as long as the boy is post-pubescent, and it’s “consensual”).
What Milo said is true. Breitbart should have waved off the crap and kept him solidly in place. The same goes for Trump and Flynn. I am afraid we are starting to slip pretty badly. We have set a very damaging precedent. Incoming fire induces retreat. The enemies will now ramp up even more because they have proven they are effective. Trumpians can't take the heat. The heat is not going to stop! It is only going to get hotter so long as we throw overboard their targets.
Someone’s going to come along and rebuke you for using the term “pedophilia” to describe what Milo has affirmed.
Technically, I’m told, it’s not “pedophilia,” since Milo doesn’t support man-boy sex when the boy is pre-pubescent. He only supports man-boy sex when the boy is post-pubescent.

His story is compelling...and heartbreakingly predictable!
Those of us who have been warning about the destructiveness of normalizing deviancy are vindicated yet again. As society, the leftists, the media, academia, etc continue to try to push their agenda of forcing “tolerance” on those who hold to traditional beliefs, we will see more and more of these stories.
They were happy to have Milo on their side when he was an edgy, gay comedian...when he started criticizing the left for their war on free speech, he suddenly became dangerous to them. Now, they are going to try to destroy him because of comments that he made which echo things they have been telling all of us should be celebrated! Which is it, my post-modern friends? Should all relationships be allowed as long as they “love” each other? Should sex ed be pushed at younger and younger ages with no judgments allowed regarding what is “good” or “bad”? Does a 13-year-old have the maturity to consent to sex, receive birth control or have an abortion all without their parents’ knowledge? You can’t have it both ways - you have been promoting all of these positions for years and now suddenly all the knives are out for Milo because he says the same thing (whether he was joking or taken out of context notwithstanding) simply because he is not on your side anymore!
My prayer is that some real Christians, who are well aware of Romans 3:23, will stay in touch with Milo and show him Who really loves him!
I heard that Breitbart removed Milo because of fear of losing funding.
I’m listening to Info Wars and they are complaining that their ads are being censored by Google.
The left and establishment are trying to go after the money to shut up the right.
Britbart is next on thier list of targets. It’s time to purge the right of cowards, traitors, and nevertrumpers who enable the left.

Milo said nothing that is not true. Most homosexual abusers are NOT paedophiles. Attraction to sexually mature individuals is NOT paedophilia which is attraction to prepubesecents. What it says in the law is arbitrary and does not define paedophilia. It defines what is illegal. Copulation by a 30 year old man with his 16 year old legal wife is NOT paedophilia. The same unmarried is NOT paedophilia- it is sex abuse of an underage person.
If he’d been told resign or be fired, I suspect he wouldn’t have thanked them for standing by him and not caving.
Since Brietbart died the site bearing his name has meandered and lost focus. I’m not at all certain that they will remain as prominent as they currently are in the future. A large amount of the traffic they’ve received in the past year or two has been due to Milo Yiannopoulos.
FR is my “home” as far as the bulk of online comments that I make, but I do comment at other sites. I don’t get caught up in the advocacy of other sites as a result, so if Breitbart continues on and survives as an effective conservative voice I say great. If they don’t, that’s too bad but others will surely spring up in their place.
I stand with Milo
I can’t believe how truly ungrateful so many conservatives are. (I used to always use a cap C but no more) Trump gave up so much to run for office, and every story that showed him as human had the conservatives running for cover. With Milo, here’s a guy who is actually a victim of child rape, has never condoned such activities, but is too much of an adult to use this unfortunate event to make himself a victim, and the long knives are out. My goodness, me or my husband would never be able to work again if an un pc joke were to be your demise.
The Dems had to destroy any gay man trying to leave their bathhouse. They’re almost as dangerous as a black running from the liberal plantation. And the Republicans were glad to help.
