Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.

The officials said the intercepted communications were not limited to Trump campaign officials, and included other associates of Mr. Trump. On the Russian side, the contacts also included members of the Russian government outside of the intelligence services, the officials said. All of the current and former officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the continuing investigation is classified.

Just saw this reported on the local news. Grave comments from McCain Ryan Corker and Il Rep Adam Kinzinger alleged conservative who used the Tea Party to win his first election and went promptly left. If Republicans establishment types are coming forward this could move along quickly. We voted against establishment politicians. Knew they wouldn’t go down easily. The report ended with some throw out red meat about new information that several people in the Trump campaign were in touch with Russian officials back in the summer. This needs a hard push back NOW.
