Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.

The officials said the intercepted communications were not limited to Trump campaign officials, and included other associates of Mr. Trump. On the Russian side, the contacts also included members of the Russian government outside of the intelligence services, the officials said. All of the current and former officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the continuing investigation is classified.

But, I have little doubt that nevertrumpers Ryan, McCain, et al won’t try.
This is a coup d’etat playing out in slow motion. First you create this “russia hacked our election” fake story and pound it until it’s in the public mind. Then you start linking Trump’s people to some sort of nefarious collusion with them. Then you say “that proves it, Trump worked with the Russians to steal the election in violation of law x, y, and z” and then they impeach him. They need the house and senate, they think they’ll get them in 2018 if they agitate enough and then they strike.
If there are patriots in deep state perhaps we will see some of the conversations mccain and graham have been having in UKraine
Shut down US intel and contract it out to the Russians.
Hillary and Obama already still control the FBI, CIA, and other intel groups. It’ll take too long to clean it up.
And now that the leakers and their handlers are out of power, they want to turn the NSA collections off so Trump cannot use it against them as Obama used it against his opponents...by getting him and congress to neuter it. They never liked it in the first place... until Obama won, when it was useful, like the nuclear option was in congress. Now that Trump’s in it’s a different story with these tools in his hands.
