Numerous restaurants across the country have joined a Sanctuary Restaurants Movement to offer safe and tolerant spaces to restaurant workers, employers, and consumers that face hate and harassment in the restaurant industry.
As a collaborative project between the Restaurant Opportunities Center United (ROC United) and Presente.org, the Sanctuary Restaurant Movement seeks to not only create solidarity, but also to provide support and resources like job training and legal advice to individuals and their families impacted by hostile policies.

These restaurants should be identified and boycotted...
Hopefully, there is a membership list showing restaurant names and locations so I can boycott appropriately.
I will admit I am having trouble understanding the nature of their self-appointed compassion. Illegally crossed the border, stole or created social security numbers, created false identities and histories in order to get employed, work below minimum wage to deny ordinary Americans employment, probably make false representations to government agencies in order to get assistance on the tax payer’s dime. These are people who will bite the hand that feeds them.
Well, ICE, let the good times roll.

We have an authentic Mexican Restaurant in my neighborhood. The owner made it perfectly clear that all the employees are Legal Immigrants. Unlike the Italian place that preceded it. The Mexican place welcomes the old neighborhood residents. The Italian place didn’t want us there. We are an Italian neighborhood! Go figure.
I’m sure tens and tens of thousands of restaurants want to save these illegals because they don’t want to pay more than five an hour, these m************. that’s five stories in a row that pissed me off. Time for a free republic blood pressure break
Sounds like a good time for random health inspections and E verification to see if the employees and owners of these restaurants are citizens or are here legally.
If the workers violate our immigration laws, why would they abide by our sanitation rules/laws as food handlers?
Do you still have your ping list.
If so, please put me back on it!
thanks
I’ve been to the site and there does not seem to be a listing of participating stores. I wonder why that is?
Fine employers heavily for employing illegals. Bring back INS raids.
... so that I will know which ones not to patronize.
“Hostile policies”? Not “hostile”, but politely encouraging the various parties involved that illegal activity shall no longer be tolerated or dismissed. Self-deportation is an option.
“Hostile” is firebombing the neighborhood and firing upon the police.
Don't worry, they will be targets of ICE. They will be raided.
Idiots. They’re not protecting customers, they’re putting them at risk of disease.
No boycotts, jail and fine participants and then shut them down.
Definitely, I will boycott any business that wants to protect fraudulently documented foreigners from our laws.
Hooters offers 10,000 jobs to Muslim refugee women
Hooters announced today that they are preparing to hire 10,000 Muslim refugee women in a show of support to the immigrant community and in a display of solidarity with other American companies that have offered similar support.
Hooters joins the list of companies such as Starbucks, which has also offered to hire 10,000 refugees instead of veterans or unemployed Americans, as well as AirBNB, which has offered to house these immigrants.
