Under Armour's most prominent spokespeople -- Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, Misty Copeland and Steph Curry -- are all speaking out against comments that Kevin Plank, the brand's CEO, recently made in support of President Donald Trump.

Steph is ONLY a great basketball player with the brain of an idiot.
President Trump makes positive remarks about ballet, basketball, and the movies. Mr. Plank makes a statement praising President Trump's support of those things.
Immediatelhy, the "Rock," Curry, and Copeland would issue "reasoned" statements about how divisive President Trump's statements are, and would speak against CEO Plank's praise. I swear they WOULD do it!

I didn't say this was a rational response from prospective customers, but the comment by its nature is "divisive."
At best it was absolutely meaningless. It sure didn't do anything to enhance the value and appeal of the products his company sells.
I never said it did.
Did this guy accomplish anything by giving a positive reaction to anybody's policies?
P.S. -- I understand the company has recently criticized Trump's "travel ban" executive order. Did that do anything to enhance the image of the company in your mind? Do you see my point?
