Remember Amherst College student "John Doe," who was expelled for sexual misconduct, even though he had good reason to believe that his accuser had actually assaulted him? A judge recently blocked Doe's attempt to subpoena his female accuser's text messages on grounds that re-litigating the matter "would impose emotional and psychological trauma" on her.
Consider the implications of this decision. According to Seattle District Judge James Robart, a student who believes Amherst violated his due process rights, wrongfully expelled him, and ignored subsequent evidence that his accuser, "Sandra Jones," was the actual violator of the college's sexual misconduct policies, does not deserve the opportunity to make his case because someone else's feelings are more important.

So this Judge James Robart is the same who stayed Trump’s immigration EO? This needs to get out there. Seems like he’s practicing identity politics, not law.
Interesting how one outrageously stupid, political decision by an activist judge that flies in the face of law and reason can focus attention on other stupidly wrong decisions by the guy in the past.
Perhaps he has skated along for years and years out of the limelight, but doing great damage, all the while avoiding the public scrutiny that he evidently has deserved.

Well, I will answer my own question...they are scared ****less of the MSM Can’t possible do anything even remotely anti PC . . .whether it’s Anthony Kennedy or this clown, they’ll just stomp on anyone’s rights who’s not part of the BS “protected classes”.
We are now reaping the consequences of the failures of us, the MSM and the pols of both parties to speak out way before this got out of hand. The whole “Diversity” nonsense, the discriminatory nature of “affirmative action” and now the sex culture which has morphed into the hookup culture and to him vs her.
And yes, judges should be impeached and that should have started way back with some of the idiot decisions of the Warren Court, et al. Now Federal judges think they can find some excuse, any excuse, to justify anything. The judiciary must be reined it.

I suggest that everyone read the actual case BEFORE commenting.
It’s been going on a lot longer than that. The judges were daffy from the 50’s through eighties as well, pardoning sex criminals and murderers and releasing them into the streets to commit more crimes. That’s when you had all the “Death Wish” movies. Now it’s about protecting PC protected groups. But the judges have always done whatever they want because they answer to no one.

My nephew, in a rural elementary school, was sanctioned for sexual misconduct at the age of nine. There was no touching or aggression of any sort,
All he said to another 9 year old, a girl, was: “ I’d love to park my tractor in your barn!”
She told her parents and a written complaint was filed. He was suspended from school for a week and his return was dependent on an interview with a psychologist, and a query to the parents on sexual abuse.
It was treated as a health matter, no chance for an administrative hearing because of the tender ages involved.
If the boy was past puberty there would have been a hearing possible.
I believe that our educational system is truly out of control.
How did this case - related to incidents at Amherst - end up in the Western Circuit?
...as opposed to being wrongly accused, summarily convicted, having your civil rights violated, and being punished for the crime of which you were convicted. That's emotionally and psychologically therapeutic, no doubt. [eyeroll]

This judge should not only be impeached but have all retirement pay forfeited due to extreme wrongdoing on the bench. For a judge to be an activist is the absolute worst thing any society can have. It tears it apart from the inside out like a really nasty cancer and looks like a really angry case of full lip herpes surrounding the mouth and oozing pus.
