A long-anticipated speech by Breitbart.com editor Milo Yiannopolous was abruptly canceled Wednesday evening after protests outside the U.C. Berkeley event quickly escalated into a violent riot.
Rockets and incendiary devices were fired at police, the Student Union campus building where Milo was scheduled to appear was besieged and severely damaged, Trump supporters were assaulted, fires were ignited, and the riot then spilled out onto city streets where windows were smashed and businesses vandalized.
This page contains videos and photos of the riot taken by me, documenting the violence -- as well as additional videos taken by other witnesses showing assaults on Milo supporters.

As long as they can riot without repercussions, this will continue. The anarchists need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, including the riot organizers.
A good part of the impetus behind not only allowing this destruction, but subtly encouraging it comes from UC President Janet Napolitano who was put in charge of homeland security by Barack Obama. What damage she did to our country on a much larger scale is yet to be seen.

When you cancel conservative events because of the potential for rioting, the liberals win. What should happen is aggressive enforcement of the law where rioters are arrested and jailed.

This is a pyrrhic victory for them; as long as they can’t control messages on the internet they are exposing themselves as anything but supporters of free speech. They should definitely be prosecuted to the full extent of the law; blacks would be justified in complaining when ‘hood rioters are prosecuted (maybe not in the numbers they should be, but when the evidence is overwhelming) while spoiled snowflakes are given a pass.
These jackasses truly benefit from “white privilege”...
Prosecution will do squat until you can find the financiers, and if that takes too long the problem is that the cancer spreads. No what needs to happen is that citizens need to come armed with the Constitutions intent, they need to exercise the 2nd in order to protect the first. Shoot down a few black shirts who get aggressive, and if need be do it at all places where the First is threatened and these black shirts will cower. Hopefully the ACLJ will be ready and willing to step forward and defend any shooters.
The rioting was just the Left circling the wagons because they know they are losing the fight for the minds and hearts of Americans.

I don’t think that is their goal. Take journalist as an example. They do not write what they write for right wing consumption.
They are writing it for other leftist to feed on.
Likewise, the ‘protesters” are putting on a show for other leftist.
Sarah Silverman is blind to the right, reality or the USC. So, blind that she doesn’t realize its insane, and seditious, to call for a military coup to overthrow Trump.
They are all, the leftist, working themselves into a frenzy for other leftist to admire or to try to outdo the next.
They do, not so secretly, wish someone, not themselves because they are esentially cowards, would kill Trump.
I can understand why Milo makes people uncomfortable. Even some conservatives are very uncomfortable with some of the things he says. In that case, there are a few appropriate responses:
Hand out fliers.
Picket peacefully.
Walk out.
Stay home.
Use the Q&A period to debate his views.
(I’ll admit, I’ve done all of those at one time or another.)
It is not to riot, destroy things, and shut down his ability to speak.
If you can’t defend the right of speakers to say things you completely disapprove of, then you don’t believe in free speech. Defending speech you like is easy.
The more temper tantrums, in the form of riots, murders, and other criminal behavior, the Left throws the more they alienate themselves from the the super majority of Americans.
We know that...i don’t think they know it...or care.
