Federal authorities have identified a Philadelphia journalist as the woman who infiltrated and might have secretly recorded a closed-door discussion of congressional Republicans at their Center City retreat last week, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the matter.
After a probe involving multiple agencies, they said Emily Guendelsberger is unlikely to face federal charges in Philadelphia, despite getting past security and into a room in the Loews hotel where Vice President Pence met privately with senators and representatives.

“After a probe involving multiple agencies, they said Emily Guendelsberger is unlikely to face federal charges in Philadelphia,”
WHY ?
If she can sneak in, then anyone can. Pence better fire his SS immediately. Trump should stop everything until he can clear out the obamy loyal SS. He can start with Pence’s squad followed by that pos in Denver.
Guess we should be glad she had a recorder instead of a bomb. Liberals breaking the law doesn’t seem to matter to anyone “Federal”. More draining of the swamp needed.
sounds like they can’t prove she recorded them ?
So, its legal to secretly record a private conversation without the consent of the parties?
Democrats are LAW-LESS because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!!
Her Twitter and LinkedIn links are dead now. Some Emily links:

It's so critical that the Republican hatefulness be exposed that any laws broken to expose them must be forgiven.

It depends on the state law. I believe in Texas that only one party has to know - which would be the one recording.
This was in Pa where it IS illegal.
Same person?

Another article said she had a congressional ID. Seems she may have had help from an attendee.
against law in Pa ?
If there is no consequence for lying to federal officials protecting the president or presenting counterfeit identity documents to the same federal authorities protecting the president, then we can expect a lot more of this dangerous behavior.
Give her a 5 year felony rap, and let her be reduced to being a Walmart greeter.
I would look at McCain and his buddies. They are undermining things.
When James O’Keefe dressed up as a telephone repairman in some federal Offices he was arrested, kept in jail for 3 days and he got a misdemeanor, along with two of his colleagues, I believe.
Originally they were trying to get him on some type of terrorism charge.
....She could be charged under Pennsylvania state law...
Pennsylvania’s wiretapping law is a “two-party consent” law. Pennsylvania makes it a crime to intercept or record a telephone call or conversation unless all parties to the conversation consent. 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 5703
Except, that won’t happen.
