Steve Feinstein’s recent article, “Why American Jews Are Overwhelmingly Liberal,” omitted a crucial part of the story: its conclusion. While I do not take issue with the article’s facts, the truth is that a wave of conservatism, based on religious values, has been deeply cultivated and is robustly emerging on a major scale in the most vibrant and enduring segments of American Jewry.
Studies have demonstrated that America’s secular and mostly liberal Jewish population is shrinking and disappearing, as a result of intermarriage and abandonment of Jewish identity and tradition. Liberal Jewish congregations are dwindling and shutting down, and even seeking non-Jews to join, as there are no longer enough Jews to fill these emptying houses of worship. The same is true with liberal Jewish schools and organizations.
In contrast, the American Orthodox Jewish population is growing, and it is projected that this population, which is politically conservative and which strives to live by biblical values, has strong family units, and adheres to a traditional way of life, will replace the liberal Jewish communities.
The most notable impact on American society of this seismic change will be in the political arena, as Orthodox Jews predominantly vote Republican. Other changes will be seen as well, especially in the areas of support for traditional family values, as Orthodox Jews are pro-life, oppose gay marriage, and support school choice. And on a more recent note, much of the greatest Jewish support for the appointment of Steve Bannon came from the Orthodox Jewish media.

JINOs are generally more Democrat than Jewish, in my experience. Something has to fill the vacuum.
My niece’s Bat Mitzvah speech included her rejection of G-d’s existence, earning her applause in the Reformed Congregation.
Reformed = Democrat Party Apparatchiks.
Reconstructionist = Full Marxist.
When you no longer believe in G-d, please stop calling yourself “Jewish”.

I sure hope this is so. I have been shocked by my Jewish friends and their support for EVERYTHING Democrat. I really want to ask my Jewish SIL how she feels about the organizer of the ‘Women’s March’ (which she and my brother proudly marched in), who is a Hamas sympathizer. But I guess I’d rather have peace in the family.

With 68% of Jews voting Clinton and 28% voting Trump, the results were comparable to those four years ago, when 68% voted for President Barack Obama against 31% for Mitt Romney.
It is difficult to believe this article given the existing data.
Most of the Jewish people I grew up with probably don’t step inside a Temple except for a wedding or a funeral.
That’s like saying there’s no God at your catholic confirmation :)
They vote R in NYC. The Orthodox. In a big way.
Besides, I highly doubt Jews have made or broken a presidential election, with only 2 percent of the vote.
They catch a lot of flak for such a small group. Probably because the loudest ones in hollywood are heard instead of some of the great conservative writers.
At the first FReep I attempted organize in 2001 there was me, an Orthodox Jew, and a Reformed Jew.

Jews are about 1.5% of the population. Keep focusing on working whites, Republicans.
I have a few jews in my own family, and they are hugging and sacrificing and embracing all the mohammed worshipping goat fu&&ers.
I wish I could remember which stand-up comic it was who said “There are certain people who like the vibe and the identity of being Jewish. They just don’t want to be bothered with this God person hanging around.”
And that is EXACTLY the truth !!
What is the purpose of a Bat Mitzvah if you don’t believe in God? An excuse to get gifts?
