After eight long years of a lawless Obama Department of Justice, it is fitting--and sad--that the very last act of the Obama DOJ is for the Acting AG to defy the newly elected President, refuse to enforce the law, and force the President to fire her. Sally Yates now joins the ignominious succession, from Eric Holder to Loretta Lynch, of Attorneys General who put brazen partisan interests above fidelity to law.
President Trump was exactly right to fire an acting Attorney General who refused to carry out her constitutional duty to enforce and defend the law. Yates’ lawless partisanship highlights why the Senate needs to act now--and Senate Democrats should end their extreme political obstruction and delay--and confirm Jeff Sessions immediately. America needs and deserves an Attorney General who will be faithful to the Constitution and uphold the law.

Have you seen Galaxy Quest. Sigorney Weaver’s character goes through this routine where she simply repeats everything the computer says. And everyone can hear the computer up front.
It’s extremely annoying to everyone in the scenes, but they let her do it anyway.
It’s hilarious.
Don’t be silly. If there was anything in them that couldn’t stand the light of day, Trump wouldn’t be meeting with Cruz - instead he’d keep his distance. Instead, they are coordinating to get as much done as possible before the left can get back on their feet.

Meyer, I respect that. There are times when we get a certain idea in our head and can’t seem to shake it. You were trying to be loyal and I understand that dynamic.

I’ll bet Donald Trump cares what Ted Cruz has to say. At a time when he’s being protested all over the country and the world, and the media is highlighting every bit of it, and some members of Trump’s own party are publicly criticizing him (especially McLame and Miss Linda)...I’m guessing Trump, self-confident though he is, is glad to have an unabashed ally in the Senate. I’ll bet he’s willing to put up with Cruz, even if there are still hard feelings, if it helps garner him some support in Congress.
I’ll bet Trump sees the bigger picture here, the one that several butthurt Freepers keep missing: Trump is smart; he can use Ted to whatever advantage suits him. If Trump can let bygones be bygones for the greater good, I don’t know why the rest of us can’t.
I won’t be happy about it.
If he does it, I think it will be a big mistake.
Cruz has shown he has very poor judgement.
