The gender war has now moved from bathroom regulations and into the recommended language in theology classes.
The divinity schools at Duke and Vanderbilt Universities have rekindled debate, previously addressed at Notre Dame and Harvard, by issuing gender neutral guidance to their professors.

The Gospels seem pretty clear the Lord’s Prayer starts with “Our Father”.
Choke on it, Libs.
June 20, 1969. . CHANGES. . .a little at a time until . . .some are now saying “What Happened????!!!!!” some. . . .”it’s about time” . . and some don’t care.

“Our parent who draws art in Heaven...”
Where do you see any reference to the Pope, or is it just another opportunity to attack the Roman Catholic church?
Pathetic.
we have been instructed already how to pray, thank you
thousands of years ago, by an authority FAR more credible than a couple of misguided college hacks
In the fwiw dept, the Lord Jesus was very specific on who to call Father (Abba). You would think this kind of discussion wouldn’t come up in a divinity school.
If I were a professor having this conversation, I would be worried about incoming.

Extreme trouble because the psychopathic sodomites not only control all the mainstream media, they control all the mainline “churches” and all the mainline universities.
Those who control the Language (Words) can force a worldview on the ignorant masses and literally flip Vice and Virtue. It is Mind Control (brainwashing of the little children to normalize evil, vile islamic behaviors like sodomy and bestiality.) They literally embed irrational emotions in young children to warp all perceptions with their artificial removal from the Natural Family and destroying the Natural family so children can be easily made into irrational, warped zombies (useful idiots).
It is all to erase the Christian worldview in the masses, to “kill God” so that they can flip 2000 years of ethics to collective/slave worldview. Only the Christian worldview could create the US Constitution and Free Will and Individualism—Individual Natural Rights ONLY from God. Those God-Given “Natural Rights” are being erased.....all common sense in little children is being removed, so they will be so dumb and ignorant they won’t even be able to tell if they are a boy or girl. (Fichte 1810 “Snow is Black-—google their godless German “plan” for the Minds of your children which was embedded into ALL curricula by 1970s.).
Ever wonder why your children are so dumb and irrational (irrational emotions control everything because they are TRAINED to destroy intellectual development (Reason)). They destroyed Classical Christian curricula, the ONLY curricula which teaches Logic/Socratic Method, Rhetoric, Euclid, etc. It gives the tools to think-—it created Modern Science, the US Constitution and the Age of Reason and Western Civilization which has to be erased by the Marxists (Kill God) so they can literally make slaves of the masses-—serf/tribal, irrational minds.
It is ALL by design by the Cultural Marxists who created PC to control Words/Language for Mind control-——they can control ALL the ideas and desires embedded in children now with TV/computers and the skool group-think factories.
VERY EVIL TIMES WE LIVE IN.....very evil for they are destroying the minds of all Christian children who are in public schools and watch their satanic programming and satanic “music”.
Should be called ‘divisive divinity schools’. Those schools have lost the way to heaven and are on the way to hell.
Barabbas-> Bar Abba-> Son of the Father.
Hyam Maccoby makes a fair argument in his “Revolution In Judaea” - from a Jewish perspective - that Jesus and Barabbas were one and the same person.
We are becoming a female dominated country and the churches are a reflection of it.
I can’t think how long it has been since I have heard a message about the sin of fortification and single female households. If there is, it emphasized that it is always the mans fault and the female is a victim.
Sins that are primarily mens are emphasized and repeatedly warned against, but predominately female sins are hardly mentioned. We had a sermon on Ephesians, the minister noted there were 6 verses with instructions for women and one to men. He said I will cover the men’s first and he proceeded to spend over 75% of the sermon on this one verse. I wasn’t surprised given the different emphasis on Mother’s Day and Fathers Day. I wonder whether many pastors are scared of upsetting their wives.
I am planning on going to a class at a church for new members. I am planning on asking, since 1980, the illegitimacy rate has increased from below 20% to over 40%. What has been your churches response? Do you think it has been effective in reducing the local rate?
The second question, concerns the book of John. Jesus effectively says to the Samarian women, (I know you), you have been married five times and are now shacking up with a guy. Would your minister be comfortable saying that? She was one of the more significant heroes of the New Testament and they bury this comment.
Interesting. I’ll ask Yeshua about it when I get there.

So help me out....when Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane....he was praying to his what? I thought it was his father, but I guess these divinity schools know better than the scriptures.
Matthew 28
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth
has been given to me.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with
you always, to the close of the age.”
Guess they are saying they don’t want to believe in the Bible.
I don’t think the liturgical changes will be made.
I don’t think the liturgical changes will be made.
“Father, Father, why hast thou foresaken me?”
A "review" of the most recent changes has been ordered. Based upon past experience, the final result will be elimination of 'rigid' church-wide rubrics and the encouragement of 'creativity' in the liturgy. You know, for those who are 'open to the Holy Spirit' and allow God to 'surprise' them.
