EXCLUSIVE: Tiffany Trump Is Currently Registered to Vote in Two States

Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he would request an investigation into voter fraud, “including those registered to vote in two states.” But the new president’s own daughter Tiffany Trump is registered to vote in both Pennsylvania and New York, Heat Street has learned.

I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and….

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 25, 2017 even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 25, 2017

“There is nothing illegal about that,” said Fred Voigt, the deputy election commissioner for Philadelphia. “The illegality only occurs if one votes in two places, not if you’re registered in both.”

Tiffany Trump lived in Philadelphia while attending the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in May. Voigt said it was “very common for college students to be registered both where they live and where they go to school.”

According to public records, Tiffany Trump cast her vote in November in New York City and did not vote in Pennsylvania.

The spokeswoman for the New York City Board of Elections also confirmed that there was no legal problem with Tiffany Trump registering as a voter in both states.

In addition to Tiffany Trump, senior White House adviser Steve Bannon is also registered to vote in both Florida and New York, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Bannon cast his absentee ballot in New York in November.

Might be something for the Trump Administration to look into if it wants to crack down on people registering in multiple states.

Back in 2000 my niece's then fiance, who was a registered voter in Texas, registered and voted here in Detroit while he was interning in med school.

As a side note, he observed multiple violations of voter laws at the precinct while waiting in line for 3 hours. Being only one of only a handful of whites in the predominately black precinct, he wasn't in a position to say anything........not that it would have mattered.

It’s also being reported that Steve Bannon is likewise registered to vote in two states.

Like this report writes, it’s not illegal to be registered in more than one state, but it is illegal to vote more than once.

When the voter rolls are examined, it will also be cross-checked to see if each registered person voted. Those registered in more than one state will be examined to have voted in more than one state.

IF A VOTER REGISTERED IN MORE THAN ONE STATE IS FOUND TO HAVE VOTED IN MORE THAN ONE STATE, DOES IT MEAN THAT VOTER HAS COMMITTED A CRIME? Yes, no, maybe.

Project Veritas showed the DNC operative Foval stating that the activities included casing, targeting, scouting out voters who were unlikely to vote and then vote in their place. If a voter had moved, it was safe to vote in their place.

But there are still ways to catch felony double voters. If they received a mail ballot and returned it from out of state, etc. then they are caught.

The biggest catch will be all the illegals who registered via motor-voter. They were coached to believe that no one would ever catch them or they were simply told to ignore the warnings re: citizenship or they were told something else. And why did they do it? Because their community organizing coaches gave them a veiled threat or they were promised money and benefits of some sort.

And remember Obama’s statement:

“If you vote, then you’re a citizen”

which is logically valid but not appropriate for a statement on national news media. The correct version of the statement is the contrapositive “If you’re not a citizen, then you don’t vote” in the sense of not eligible to vote..

There is no way to “unregister”. They don’t even take you off if you die.

Owning property is not the right metric. I own property in at least two states. It should be the state of residence under IRS rules. The voter roles should be purged every two years, IMHO.

You don't even need to be a citizen to register to vote.

Sure, the form asks you if you are, but all you need to do is check the box. No one checks. Therefore, it's the same as allowing non-citizens to vote.

how do the states compare their records??? Answer, they don’t.

Exactly! I’m sure I’m still registered to vote in California, although I moved back to New York ten years ago. That means I’m “registered to vote in two states”! So what?

This is why we hate the Democrat media. Let’s see how many illegals voted in CA, shall we?

One of my sons first voted in NC but moved to Massachusetts and voted there this year. His NC registration was still valid. No they don’t always talk to each other. We got a card from the NC election board and corrected his address which will take care of it. However, it is possible for people to use both ballots.

If you vote in 1 state the other one should be voided for that election. It is the 21st century, so there’s really no excuse.

“There is nothing illegal about that,” said Fred Voigt, the deputy election commissioner for Philadelphia. “The illegality only occurs if one votes in two places, not if you’re registered in both.”

This is one of the 42 flavors of fake news; the Hysterical Headline.

There is no mechanism to "un-register". One registers and votes in state "A". One moves to state "B", registers and votes in state "B". It is up to the states to wash out inactive voters from their rolls. For all I know I might be still registered to vote in North Carolina where I lived many yahren ago.

Okay, well, she shouldn’t be.

Shouldn't be what?

What is the requirement for ANYONE from any state to take themselves off their state voter registration rolls and how many people do you know who have moved from one state to another that have actually done it?

FWIW, there is no federal database that would indicate someone voting in say Michigan where they current reside and Texas where they used to live.

And it's just as ridiculous to think that someone would actually vote in Michigan then hurry home to Texas and vote there...........Sheesh!

We moved from Oregon to Idaho last summer. I was surprised (& pleased) to get a postcard from our former OR county elections office asking us to confirm that our move was permanent. There’s no excuse for not maintaining clean voter roles.

Maybe but I know at least four retired NYC teachers who are snowbirds and voted in person in Fl and absentee in NY this past election.

According to public records, Tiffany Trump cast her vote in November in New York City and did not vote in Pennsylvania.

While I can't speak for New York, I am an election judge in Pennsylvania and who voted here is a matter of public record. All you need to do is show up at the county election bureau and ask to see the list of signed in voters for a given specific precinct. These sign in rolls are kept by law for at least one calendar year. If she is not signed in, as appears to be the case here, then she did not vote.

There is also secondary record called "numbered list of voters" with the same information, a duplicate of which is kept by the Minority Inspector for the precinct for the same calendar year. Very easy to check for tom-foolry here if the country and precinct are run by honest people.

"Shoot, I’m probably still registered in California and I haven’t lived there for 14 years."

Y'know, you're probably right. I certainly didn't take any action to cancel my registration to vote in Louisiana when I moved to Washington. Didn't even think about it. Given the mobility of US citizens, I suspect there are a large number of people with multiple registrations.

But this does open the possibility of voting in more than one state. I doubt that Washington contacted Louisiana when I established domicile here. Maybe that should be required. It could be a federal requirement, as it is an interstate commerce activity.

Of course there is nothing illegal about being registered in two states, but often people who are registered twice vote twice, especially if they are of the Democrat persuasion, so it’s something that should be tracked and investigated.
