A waitress at a Washington D.C. restaurant received a very generous tip and a warm message on her receipt from three men who were in town for President Donald Trumps inauguration.
Rosalynd Harris, who works at Busboys and Poets in the northwest part of the nations capital, told The Washington Post she was beaming with confidence Monday after taking part in the Womens March over the weekend.

Thats the biggest issue: they have created memes and strawmen and then rail against them.
Reality always surprises them.
Within days, you’ll see a Black/Muzzie/Lezzie/Trans claiming that a Trump supporter left a mean message on the slip, and no tip.
They are bigger than me, too. The only tip I’d have left would be to get rid of those drawn in Groucho Marx eyebrows.
I've had many waitresses who've been absolutely wonderful. Each of those times I've given a larger than normal tip (normal for me is usually 20-25%)
I also like to stop and see the manager on the way out. Most times a manager is only stopped to hear complaints. I purposely stop them to brag up the waitress. It lifts the manager and the manager will usually go back and tell the waitress.
There are a number of restaurants that I am fairly frequent at, that managers and wait staff recognize me. I'll have staff who stop and say hi, or fill my coffee, take dishes, whatever.
I want them to think of me as a very generous and congenial gentleman.
If conversation ever drifts to politics or religion, I want my actions to back up my words.
(Though I have had and used my tagline for years, I have another saying I try to live by "Everybody Brings Joy Into A Room. Some when They Enter. Others When They Leave.")
This story was originally published in the lefty Washington Post?
It’s a good thing I’m sitting down!
Great story. I hope it makes her think.
Great writing? No so much:
Harris, who is black, told the Post she was admittedly a bit prejudice....

Writer lost his “d” for “prejudiced”.
Now she feels bad about spitting on their food before serving it.
“probably got the money by cheating someone”
That’s quite a revealing projection. Recommend securing your wallet and valuables during every visit.
For what?
Had two other women I know post pictures of themselves on FB at different marches in Maine and Colorado saying how wonderful it was.
I asked them both, "Um, exactly what did you accomplish? I have been watching the news and don' t see any mention of how all this made any difference other than leaving mountains of garbage behind. Trust you were more respective of littering laws."
crickets!
Done and thanks for the sage advice.
In other news, Rep. John Lewis, civil rights Icon-job, said he was not at the march because he vividly remembered that he was spat upon and called the “N” word somewhere, sometime by someone.
So you would have stiffed a waitress because of her political views. You sound just like a Democrat.
This gal is supporting her family on tips and she REALIZES that regardless of political views she NEEDS the money!! She must have been very gracious to these gentlemen and was rewarded for it!!! Republicans are ALWAYS great tippers I would say that most of them have worked in the business while in school or working their way up!!! I would love to know how the PROTESTERS treated these restaurant workers I would guess VERY POORLY!!!!
You don’t.
It’s like trying to teach a pig to sing: Futile and just annoys the pig.
And then it will be found out to be a fake.
But the LSM will report the “mean message” story hourly for weeks, and the fact it was fake for about 5 seconds (if at all).
Imagine if a waitress would have been beaming about Trump while serving leftist patrons. I doubt she would have been generously tipped, but likely stiffed and dursed
I believe when you come across the intolerant you kill them with kindness. you probably wont effect them but who ever you are with will look at there behavior and yours and then make a decision on both of you.
