Just days after The National Park Service (NPS) was forced to shut down its Twitter activity over two retweets the Department of the Interior deemed inconsistent with the agencys mission, the Twitter account for Badlands National Park in South Dakota seems to have gone rogue, tweeting numerous scientific facts about climate change that have since been deleted. The first tweet about climate science came at 11:40 a.m. local time Tuesday. It said: The pre-industrial concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was 280 parts per million (ppm). As of December 2016, 404.93 ppm.

Parts per MILLION. Got it.
That’s what the bank says every month when they send me my statement lol.
It seems to be a historically justified and reasonable park.

But maybe it needs some new management.
So many unelected Democrats politicizing their apolitical offices.
Clean house. Defund the Left.
Where is the accountability?
Real facts or “consensus” “facts”?
Now, don’t you listen to them!
You aren’t bad.....lands.
You’re good!
You’re special!
You should be called Speciallands Park.
Today’s interest rates on savings... can best be described in parts per billion, not million. LOL
My college professor said that it was impossible for atmospheric carbon dioxide to affect ocean acidity.
I need to get a look at this 1770 scientific instrument measuring Co2 ppm.
“My college professor said that it was impossible for atmospheric carbon dioxide to affect ocean acidity.”
I meant to say my chemistry professor - PhD.
Not bad , just misunderstood
“Facts” like Trump LIES about illegal votes....
Whoever tweeted this is right, it was dangerously low in pre-industrial times.
At 400 ppm we are barely out of ice age carbon starvation mode, we could quadruple it and the plant life would be very very happy.
This could only come from one of Hillary’s women.
Fire that b!tch tomorrow. Demand it of Interior or fire the dept head, very publicly, for insubordination.
You’re like The Park Whisperer, or something.
I could be your assistant.
We could go to the Grand Canyon and sit down and have a couple of beers and then you could look at the Canyon and say something like, “I feel this park has a split personality.”
We’d make a fortune.
You’re fired!
For the poor and hungry people -- for future generations --- for all our fellow species ---and for all mankind! Why settle for anything less than optimal for God's Green Earth?
Indeed, the famines and crop failures of the times were due to low CO2
