So far, so good. I like the sound of liberals crying over their jobs and programs. Is there a way we can preserve their tears in some sort of Heritage fashion? Pure unadulterated raw liberal tears?

As long as they don’t slash the military, I’m all for it.

For starters, a hiring freeze will make a huge difference. Baby boomers are retiring in droves. Just don’t hire anyone new.

“Donald Trump is ready to take an ax to government spending.”

Great news.

“The departments of Transportation, Justice and State would see significant cuts and program eliminations.”

Eliminate the Civil Rights Division at the Dept. of Injustice and transfer the funds to illegal alien prosecutions and investigations of the passport office.

“Overall, the blueprint being used by Trump’s team would reduce federal spending by $10.5 trillion over 10 years.”

I hope it is front-end loaded so that most of the cuts begin immediately, not “five years out”.

It's a nice idea, but Congress is never going to allow this.

For one thing, I'm pretty damn sure Mitch McConnell's wife is not going to be overseeing a shrinking U.S. Department of Transportation.

Good. Fed “workers” do little work of any positive value. Mainly, they collect their check, harass Citizens and wait for their cushy retirement. What a pathetic joke on Citizens. Probably, 50% of them could be sent one-way to Mars tomorrow and it would be a great thing for the country.

For those interested, here is a 12-page annual report by the National Endowment of the Humanities:

https://www.neh.gov/files/neh_2015_annual_report_final.pdf

It has some details on how/where they granted their money that year. Pretty helpful when your liberal loudmouth cousin complains about DRACONIAN cuts to spending . . .

Then look them in the eye and explain that until the government learns that $20 trillion in debt requires SACRIFICE to those who are not high priorities it will never solve the job.

Link it to a family living paycheck to paycheck and making the decision to eliminate HBO or find a $50 month cheaper auto insurer or shopping for food at WalMart.

MAYBE the light might start to flicker in their uneducated brains . . .

Overall, the blueprint being used by Trump’s team would reduce federal spending by $10.5 trillion over 10 years.

How is that possible without significant reductions to Social Security and Medicare.

The departments of Commerce and Energy would see major reductions in funding, with programs under their jurisdiction either being eliminated or transferred to other agencies. The departments of Transportation, Justice and State would see significant cuts and program eliminations.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be privatized, while the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities would be eliminated entirely.

That's what I call WINNING!

MOST EXCELLENT!! Although I'm more interested in the reduction over 1 year and 4 years. Maybe 8 years.

Ten years is someone else's administration.
