They have disseminated fake news for 50 years. They founded “fake news” but they have been intermediated by alternative sources that bring the facts— not the propaganda. I think News Papers are history in 5 years. Subscriptions are falling rapidly. They have lost control of the news and its meaning. Many of us come here, for example. We go with Billions of hits on the Drudge report and Breitbart. The Network news is left with neanderthal cave dwellers that have no computers or cable/ satellite tv to get FOX NEWS. Trump now totally circumvents them and goes straight to his 50 million followers. Trump is now moving the press out of the White house and diluting these adversaries from 49 permitted new conference attendees to over 200!! This is so justly deserved but when they write— nobody cares anymore because their papers are dying for ever. It is a new world in the internet age and President Trump will protect the internet!! The NYT CAN GO TO HELL!!

Just a couple of weeks ago Trump referred to the NYT as a failing paper that will probably be gone in a few years. That brought about a huge uproar from all the alt-left media, and a host of know nothing pundits saying that the NYT was in terrific shape.
Wow, riding the bus today I noticed our local newspapers’ building for decades is now for lease. You can imagine the smile on my face. And now the NYT. Newspapers are dying, and I couldn’t be happier.
The only sad part is it makes it even harder for a conservative newspaper to emerge.

How much money was the left wing media getting from Obama administration, Clinton Foundation, hush money, etc?

If so, Trump could bankrupt these folks by just turning off the flow of federal funds that is going to the media. Can you imagine how much crap funding they get from the Feds??!!
Poland defunded state sponsored media after the conservatives took office.
They threw a hissy fit and the EU was going to sanction them for it until Hungary said they would veto any sort of sanctions.

The NYT can still do a good job when it wants to. Their election night coverage (& predictions) was spot on. But too bad their overall bias is dragging them down.
