HERB ALPERT & THE TIJUANA BRASS: “MY HEART BELONGS TO DADDY”

Herb’s decade was the Sixties, and this quick one-off gets right to the point. The Tijuana Brass originally consisted of Herb over-dubbing himself in the garage studio that he shared with Jerry Moss. Once he broke out in 1965, he hired the best sidemen available in Los Angeles, but not one of them was Mexican! Herb is still active today.

My computer died in mid-sentence last evening. Thankfully I bought a new one last year when the dead one started making weird noises. So I brought it upstairs and spent til 4am trying to get it set up so I could post today. I think I have enough restored and installed to get me by. I will find out as I try to do stuff.
