The YouTube channel of influential conservative politics and law website Legal Insurrection has been removed by the video sharing service, citing copyright infringement claims.

“This account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted,” explains YouTube, in a notice posted to channel’s page.

Legal Insurrection founder and publisher and Cornell University Law Professor William Jacobson voiced his anger and astonishment at the channel’s removal. “It’s very frustrating, it’s very scary, to have 8 years of content removed without a chance to defend yourself,” he told FoxNews.com.

Remember that law is a Republican law. Trump will likely have more trouble with the Republicans than with the Democrats.

Leftists are the thought police. We can never allow ourselves to forget that.

I noticed that within the last two weeks or so that my commenting account at ABC news has been cancelled. I’ve also notice that there is a HUGE uptick in liberal comments versus conservative in the last 2 weeks on different sites. It’s like they’re blocking conservatives.

Our local TV stations have been doing this for sometime. We're in a deep conservative state and their comment sections were overrun by liberals. I have no doubt this was on purpose to try to influence public opinion.

Well, Trump come along and the stations tried passing off the anti-Trump stories and there were quite a few, including myself, that came out of the woodworks to correct them on their biased stories.

I remember they had a huge backlash on one anti-Trump story that more than overwhelmed their libtard posters. From that point on, they took away the comment sections of stories like the anti-Trump biased stories. This so they could pass off these lies without any public scolding or backlash.

Our medias, even the local ones, needs to be run out of business ASAP.

I do not get it. Legal Insurrection could simply add it’s video content to their own website? Who the hell needs google and you tube?

Now-a-days it’s easy to host, publish and upload video content to any website that accepts it. No one should need you tube for their business activity anymore. Screw Google.

It is funny there is only “free speech” when it helps, or is practiced by, liberals.

I think it was a bi-partisan law. The Uni party doesn’t like it when their pre selected candidates get shut out, and yes he will have trouble with Republicans and Democrats that are slaves to the Globalist International Corporations.

I guess it is time to look at internet sites as public forums needing freedom.

Anyone with web hosting experience out there . . .

What would it take to properly set up a conservative alternative to YouTube?

for all corporations.
Despite protestations: The US Constitution is not suspended when someone comes to work for a corporations, uses a product corporately produced or provided, or even when a client comes over to your place of business.

The corporation derives its rights ostensibly from the constitution, aka: WE THE PEOPLE... and if you want to exist as a corporation, you damned well better uphold all their rights as people, or you must lose your corporate right to exist, be licensed or operate as a business, public or private.

The suspension of rights guaranteed under the constitution, can not be suspended by business arrangements and agreements which are themselves derived from and protected by the constitution.

Business law has been messed up longer than any of us have been alive. Education has been messed up longer than any of us have been alive.

Its time to flush the toilet, and get rid of the leadership class mentality, who think that they can constantly devise rules, laws and confections that dis-allocate the rights assigned to the people, by the people and for the people who gave them the right to exist in the first place.

the tail has been wagging the dog far too long... its time to cut the tail off the end that stinks.

There has to be an alternative web site for video content treated unfairly by You Tube. They do this too often and too selectively.

“This account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted,”

Says the company whose entire website abuses copyrighted material. You know, I would be interested in one day finding out the exact dollar amount Youtube/Google has made in ad revenue from the millions of copyrighted music that has and is uploaded everyday to their website for anyone to download for free.

For example, here is the entire album of Led Zeppelin 4. I think I can safely assume the members of Led Zeppelin would prefer their music not be available to the public for free, especially when it profits a multi-billion dollar corporation like Google.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIiu0JI3I5g&list=PLFxzlBMRwkAOkT6h_3rya4KpNB_MC3PCz

This company has absolutely obliterated the music industry and they are dictating to a conservative channel about copyright infringement? I would like to see Trump one day open the doors for massive lawsuits against this company who I KNOW have been paying off Washington.
