I guess you could go Google Image search “Bush daughters drunk” to be reminded of the tabloid photo of them. I’m not going to post it again but your judgement is simply unfair.
Whatever their faults, they really haven’t gone onto the world stage and become utter fools bidding to change the entire world into more fools. Now that would be truly cringeworthy. It would be as though the Obama girls, even though privileged to be taught at exclusive schools, were still shanghaied into promoting Michelle’s ideas of school lunches.
There’s hope for them, perhaps. What really well balanced adult didn’t do some screamingly stupid things as a child and then learn from the consequences?

Aw c’mon. It’s little girls exercising what relative innocence they have left. They have been shielded by circumstance from having to participate in their parents’ follies.

Give them a whole week on the south and west sides of Chicago, without SS protection, to get to know the natives and the local culture, which is so much a product of their father’s policies.
I know of only one other “Republican” politician who sank to such a,low level of disgrace in Republican circles,the utterly vile Don Sundwuist, former governor of TN, who tried and failed to impose a state income tax. He ended his evil term unable to show his face at any Republican event.

Wiser heads have told the world for centuries that hate will consume you.
Consuming hate is the result of man’s proud refusal to let God be God. The passion which can move to a moment of necessary counteraction when under direct attack, will diffuse out to feckless dissipation at other times, because we don’t hold the reins of eternal fate — only God does.
They have done no significant public harm other than, sometimes, to visibly share in the immorality that is common to the entire world. Had they been the children of Joe and Jane Blow, we’d never be hearing about that at all.
It’s easy for sinful humans to love the lovely. It’s more of a challenge for them to allow God to bring them into His program of loving the unlovely, so that thereby if willing to change course they may be imbued with the loveliness of God.
And could it be that we are hearing more about these kinds of misbehaviors because this is a more candid age about such things? Many of the scandals of an older age were simply hushed up. One didn’t even talk about whether Thomas Jefferson impregnated a slave, for instance. This didn’t mean that today’s fleshly virtue is better, but that whitewash jobs on the fleshly sins are considered less necessary. Now lying and covering up lying is a different vice, but nobody considers lying to be as bad as, say, twerking. Even though lying can bring down a country a lot faster than twerking can.
When you become rich and have kids do they end up dumber because they are so sheltered from real life?
