I saw little parts. You hear screaming and cheering in the smallish crowd, then they show faces. Grim, not cheering and barely clapping.
I think they blended a sound track for excitement into the broadcast.
I would like to see it. I have a Justice fetish. But I bet something would happen like I describe: instead of being fair, like the Tour de France, they will retroactively allow him to stay on as the president between Bush II and Trump.

I enjoyed your detailed and comprehensive analysis of Obama’s 8 years. I am going to share something I heard today and my thoughts about what will happen in the future. You can tell me if you agree with my analysis. I was reading a story about the Trump/Putin relationship. The writer quoted some person saying that they had heard a high level Russian say Trump is Putin’s bixxx except the Russian word used was much worse. The article went onto speculate that Trump may have been secretly photographed in compromising sexual or other acts, which has enabled Putin to blackmail him.
So I asked myself, what is Putin really after that Trump can give him. The answer is high oil prices and a safe warm water port. As Secretary of State, Tillerson can work to arrange the situation favorably for Russia to maintain it’s warm water port in Syria. Regarding oil, Tillerson can probably do well in Cabinet meetings with energy and environment picks.
I suspect the Drill Baby Drill people are going to be disappointed. Cutting back on production will push prices higher which will make a lot of the people who voted for Trump quite unhappy and ultimately poorer. On the other hand they could do more drilling and keep prices down. This will not make Putin happy but will make the voting masses happy. It would also push a lot of small oil producers to economic failure and enable the majors to snap them us as a bargain.
If Tillerson sells all his Exxon shares, he will be free to handle matters however Trump asks him to. The big question is how subservient to Putin’s wishes will Trump be?
I have wondered about the 57 state thing ever since I read the nasty comments about it here a FR. Actually in addition to the 50 states, there are 7 other populated entities which are part of the US as territories or other designations. Some that I remember are Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and others.
