After 573 weeks, starting our 12 year on the New Year Weekend, the DC Chapter is declaring VICTORY over the moonbats that formally stood opposite us. There has been a single moonbats for several years, occasionally having support from her daughter. Since mid-October, she has been a no show. Weather has been good most weeks, but she has stood in inclement weather in the past. We can only conclude she has given up.
The DC Chapter is going to have a special FReep, Saturday, January 21,2017, the day after Trumps inauguration.
All FReepers in good standing are invited to join the DC Chapters VICTORY Party. The location is at the southwest corner of Georgia Ave, MD Rte. 97 and Olney-Laytonsville Road, MD Rte. 108 from 10AM till noon. The address to the shopping center at our corner is 3464 Onley-Laytonsville, Olney, MD. Park in front of the Popeyes.
As during our Walter Reed FReeps, we will have plenty of hot drinks, donuts, and man-made warming devices. New will be a warming shelter, courtesy of Lurker Bill. We will be having the Victory Party snow or cold.
Starting in February, we will be standing to Support Our Troops on two Saturdays a month. If the moonbats come back, we are ready to man the corner full time again.
A special thanks to the local American Legion, especially Post Commander Halsey, and our two WWII vets, numerous FReepers and Lurkers, our mole in the moonbats ranks, she knows who she is and we hope she can come, and for the last several years, Lurker Bill with his sound system, Lurker Jim with the Honor and Remember banner and flag, Fraxinus whos uncanny sense to show up when our ranks are not at full strength, Cindy-True-Support who travels almost an hour and a half to stand on the corner, and [Mrs] Trooprally for helping me week after week.
Please RSVP so I know how many donuts to buy.

DC Chapter Master Ping List - Yes, we still have one.
Great time for a reunion.

wow.. what fun. Not being able to get any response (except for 3djoy) for putting something together in DC, most of us out of towners have other plans for the three days.
I hope that the locals will join you...
You have plans for Saturday AM - wow you will be busy. Enjoy the festivities.

God bless you, FRiend. Please ping me to the FReport.
Thanks for the ping.
Maryland PING!
I am awfully proud of you folks down there. I don’t think I can make it, but...one never knows!
January 21 will be a wonderful day. I might be able to join you but don’t know for sure at this time. My sister Maica is smiling down upon Trump’s (America’s) victory. We went together to many DC Freeps and both Bush2 inaugurations. She went to far more Walter Reed and Cheney’s House Freeper events. I sure wish she were still with us.
Taxman Bravo Zulu!
I wish that Mrs. Taxman and I could join you, but we’ll not be able to.
FREEPEM FOR US!
You guys rock!
Oorah!
WOW! HOORAY trooprally and all of the Olney Freezers
FR’s finest support America’s finest. WOOOOOHOOOOOO!
So sorry dolly...just no support for an event sponsored by FR. I am here and will try to get to OLNEY that morning, but will have a house full of guests trying to head back to their homes that day.
My congressman did not come through with any tickets for the ceremony, my dress hangs in the closet since no ball tickets and my Christmas bottle of TRUMP Champagne will be chilled and the TV operational. It is disappointing but I have to accept it this time around.
After the thousands of hours spent on the primary and campaign fighting the Republican Never Trumpers and the Democrat Liberal Crazies,I had hoped for a wing-ding of a party!
Would love that, have never been to one.
Thanks for the bitter cold morning smile. Schools are closed in southern morning because the snow never melted on Sunday. side roads are a mess.
10-4 on the AAR.
Our pleasure. Sometimes one has to toot their own horn. The DC Chapter done a lot for the troops.
There is a spare bed if you can make it. Last time you were down you followed a snow storm all the way home. How long did it take you and Veeram to get home - 20+ hours?
