Hey hollyweird. Even if hildabeast had won, this venture in to mainstreaming gun control via a movie would have failed.
Oh dear, I hate when that happens...
I like John Lott’s writing, but he often comes across as clinical and analytic. This time the glee is obvious. It’s nice to see President Trump bringing joy to the world.
A movie by white liberals for white lieberals that most of the D party coalition could care less about (they are out buying Glocks).
The D party is a joke, but they should thank god they have the R party and its “intellectuals” as its opposition.
The left is delusional, like a fool who self-publishes fifty copies of his own book and gives them away to all of his friends. He then introduces himself as a “writer” or “author”.
It’s laughable.
No one wants to see a propaganda movie.
It is bombing just like “Truth,” the liberal fantasy movie about Dan RatherBiased last year.
If I owned stock in any of the movie companies that keep underwriting these far left-wing propaganda pieces I would be pissed. I am glad that I don’t.
So, two from nine is seven, scratch, scratch, drop the one. OK, the math reveals a $12.7M loss. Good job! I hope they keep making films like this.
The Chicoms are the big financial backers of Hollywood now so its not surprising that we’re going to see this type of crap and even with the low attendance figures, it’s not going to stop.
The Chicoms know that they have to get rid of the 2nd amendment before they can achieve censorship.
Bathtubs kill many more people than guns every year. Are they planning tub control?
KRAMER: Yeah, went straight to video.
KRAMER: That makes me the premiere.
Budget $13m, box office $3.3m.
Rotten tomatoes: critics: 69%, fresh; audiences, 57%, rotten.
Funniest public reviews:
“1/2 star. This was quite the pantload of crap. I would have been better off burning my money. At least the resulting fire would give me something interesting to see.”
“1/2 star. One of the worst movies I’ve seen...do not waste your time or money. What a terrible propaganda movie against the 2nd amendment.”
“1 star. Not today Bloomberg.”
“1/2 star. Third rate propaganda where a bunch of inadequates tell the rest of us how to think. Makes you wish you had voted Trump.”
“1/2 star. The antagonists in this movie might as well be twirling their mustaches and putting Ms Sloane on railroad tracks.”
“1/2 star. Maybe Hollywood should stop pushing its liberal ideologies and just make entertaining movies. Hopefully this bomb hits them deep in the pocketbooks.”
“1/2 star. Political propaganda poorly disguised as entertainment. May as well read Das Kapital.”
“1-1/2 star. Wow the dialogue is bad. Like laughably-Jar-Jar-bad-lines in so many places! People were walking out.”
When the dust settles, they’ll claim it was due to its opening so close to “Rogue One” that led to its poor performance. Hollywood’s answer to the Russians hacked the election.
How’d ‘Before the Flood” do?
Next up: ‘An Inconvenient Truth II’
Like slots players that hit once in a while, they’ll keep pushing and pushing and pushing that button, until they’re broke.
Too bad that actress now has such a loser on her resume after doing a good job in the Bin Laden movie.
Even if the movie had not sucked, I think it would have failed because movie-goers today prefer action and dumbass comedies. Also, I don’t think of Jessica Chastain as an A-list star. She’s a good actress, but I don’t think her name resonates with the average (Joe 6-Pack) viewer. She’s not the type that can draw ticket buyers to a crappy movie on the strength of her name. I don’t think even a bigger star could have saved this preachy POS.
What leftists love, Americans hate! When will they EVER learn???? ;)
