But two weeks after its national release, it has made only $3.2 million. During its second weekend, it averaged just $102 per movie theater per day. With a ticket price of $10.30 per adult, that comes to an average of only 9.9 people a day seeing the movie in any given theater. At least people had no problem finding a good seat. And it wasnt for lack of trying to get people to show up. Out of the 200 highest-grossing movies of 2016, only ten exceeded the $15.9 million television advertising budget of Miss Sloane, and seven of those did so by very small amounts. So, two from nine is seven, scratch, scratch, drop the one. OK, the math reveals a $12.7M loss. Good job! I hope they keep making films like this.

That only counts the post production TV advertising budget. How many more millions of dollars were spent actually making this piece of excrement?

Actually, the loss to date is far greater.
The $15.9 million was only the TV advertising budget for the movie. The actual movie cost far, far more to make.
The loss is in the tens of millions of dollars at this rate.

That’s just the ADVERTISING Budget. Film itself was likely another 15-45 millon bucks that were set on fire by this crapfest . . .

No this
Out of the 200 highest-grossing movies of 2016, only ten exceeded the $15.9 million television advertising budget of Miss Sloaneis the takeawy.
It was more heavily advertised than 95% of the most successful movies.
