At what he had billed as his final post-election thank you rally, Donald Trump hinted that he just might keep on holding them after being sworn in as president next month.
Theyre saying, As president, he shouldnt be doing rallies, he told a crowd in Mobile, Ala., Saturday night.
But I think we should, right? Weve done everything else the opposite, he said to cheers.
This is the way you get an honest word out. Because you cant give it to them pointing at the press pool because theyre so dishonest.
More rallies might mean more jabs such as the ones Trump scattered for fans in Mobile.
He called New York Times columnist Paul Krugman a demented person for tweeting that as president, Trump will have an incentive to allow another 9/11 event.
He let the crowd boo Michelle Obama for saying that theres no hope, before adding, I actually think she made that statement not meaning it the way it came out, and noting she could not have been nicer when they met at the White House after the election.
He also lauded his unorthodox campaign, calling it as good as it gets in terms of entertainment, before adding, Now the work begins.

I’m sure he’ll be too busy for that.
He’s not a “golf in Hawaii” type of CEO

We stopped Congress from passing immigration “reform” twice by melting down the DC phone lines.
We can do it again at any time.
All Donald has to do is ask.

Proper delegation of work to skilled people would allow the president to spend time at rallies.
If I remember correctly, Jimmy Carter spent some of his time working out schedules for the tennis courts at the White House. That’s evidence that the man had no idea how to run a team.
Trump is a team builder and he will spend his time in ways most presidents couldn’t handle. Also, he has said that he will take few, or no, vacations. I look forward to him traveling the country bringing the truth to the people.

Not a bad idea for the president to get out and mingle with us little people every now and then.

I’d like to see him have a rally every month. Pick a state and city, hype the rally for a few weeks prior, get a massive turnout, and speak directly to the people.

He is going to have to side step the media and his own party to keep his people fired up and get his agenda passed.
He knows it and is willing.
He fights and he is not lazy.
Bush did not fight and Obama was lazy.
Those are two traditions right off the bat that strongly need to end right now.

Sheeeeeyit. What has Barky Obola been doing for the last eight years if not holding rallies? I mean between golf outings. And drawing red lines with chalk.
Heavens to Mergatroid. Has it only been eight years???

I suspect any time congress starts dragging their feet for one of his initiatives, Trump will go over their heads and talk to the American people directly.
To: BlackFemaleArmyCaptain
RALLIES counteract the constant negatives TRUMP receives.

I’d rather see Trump do a type of fire side chat on TV instead of rallies...
The thank you tour was great, but pretty much the same theme for every one...
He can circumvent the media filter by going direct via TV statements.
