Fans of the Italian crooner are expressing displeasure at his reported decision to sing at President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Tabloid rumours are spreading of a Boycott Bocelli movement.
The American soprano Aprile Millo has posted:
He has no idea what he is endorsing. Remember he’s from a country that put up with Berlusconi. One freak show to another. I don’t buy his music I appreciate that he’s a nice man but I will absolutely boycott any Bocelli. How about an American tenor? Outsourcing already because there seems to be no American that wants to sing for him. #BoycottBocelli.

Bocelli has yet to provide personal confirmation that that he will appear at the White House, though his team have leaked that it’s a done deal.

Here a performer is just singing and the Left is throwing a fit saying he should have refused. What happened to “bake the cake” and “take the photo”? Can a band refuse to play a same sex wedding?

You can rely on this report, I chose to adopt a wait and see the reality or at the very least his personal confirmation before offering up any financial support.

I was on Facebook a few days ago and the liberals...hundreds of them, said they will never buy another recording of his and they’ll boycott his concerts. They were so disgusting. The comments were hateful.
I just read an article in the NY Post today saying Bocelli now has chosen not to perform at the inauguration. Then the article finally added, “Trump suggested to Bocelli he not participate because of the backlash. It’s sad people on the left kept him from performing on a historic day.”
