Democrats who are having trouble getting out of the first stage of grief — denial — aren't being helped by the fact that, now that all the votes are counted, Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote has topped 2.8 million, giving her a 48% share of the vote compared with Trumps 46%.
To those unschooled in how the United States selects presidents, this seems totally unfair. But look more closely at the numbers and you see that Clinton's advantage all but disappears.
As we noted in this space earlier, while Clinton's overall margin looks large and impressive, it is due to Clinton's huge margin of victory in one state — California — where she got a whopping 4.3 million more votes than Trump.
California is the only state, in fact, where Clinton's margin of victory was bigger than President Obama's in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama's 60%.
But California is the exception that proves the true genius of the Electoral College — which was designed to prevent regional candidates from dominating national elections.

Coincidentally, LA county also accounts for about 75% of California’s welfare fraud - to the tune of about 11 billion dollars per year
We need an audit of the California voter rolls to know exactly how many non-citizens are registered to vote there.

There really are no consequences for the illegals to vote as many times as possible when the Demoncrats are in charge.

For California to have stopped Clinton from winning the popular vote, it would have had to vote for Trump by a 55.5% to 44.5% margin.
For that reason, it’s not realistic to state California was the cause of Clinton’s popular vote win.
Every vote cast for Clinton, was the cause for her win.
Every vote cast for Trump was the cause for him to win,.
These comments that the Black, Hispanic, Female, Left handed people, cross eyed people... are the cause of Trump’s win, are ridiculous, and visa versa.
Each person who voted for Trump, is the reason he won.
Perfect example of why Kali-fornia should be allowed to secede and become its own cesspool. Of course we reserve the right to retain our military installations and manufacturing areas.

While waiting for my wife and daughter to finish voting, I saw two older Mexicans (one man, one woman) each being escorted and helped to vote by a younger man and younger woman.
It was clear neither could speak a word of English and neither had ever voted before. (read: Illegal aliens)
When they were leaving the precinct, both strutted proudly, which gave away that they had finally been able to 'participate' in an American election.
Trump should have demanded a recount in CA. Prolly over 4 million illegals voted for Hillary.>>>. i think a recount would just recount all the illegal votes again. an audit is what is needed and should be done in every major democrat city.

I disagree with that sentiment. Voter fraud should be looked at regardless of the outcome. It is not our last election and the voter fraud may affect the next election.
States should get certified by an independent agency(ie CPA firm or other certification firm)that they meet the requirements for the next election.
I would really like to know that. I don't want to be like the Democrats and see it because I believe it. I want to KNOW how much voter fraud--illegal aliens, felons, dead people, etc.--has occurred.
Aliens can beat you, rob you, rape you and murder you with little or no consequence.
Why would multiple illegal ballot casting cause them to fear or break a sweat?
It’s the equivalent of swiping some skittles.
It’s a sad joke on us and embarrassment to our lack of sovereignty.
And they will spread like cancer to every other state.
