Even the Democrats’ big donors are not buying the ‘Russia did it’ excuse for Hillary’s loss

…the wealthy Democrats who helped pump over $1 billion into Clinton’s losing effort have been urging their local finance staffers, state party officials, and campaign aides to provide a more thorough explanation of what went wrong. With no dispassionate, centralized analysis of how Clinton failed so spectacularly, they insist, how can they be expected to keep contributing to the party?

“A lot of the bundlers and donors still are in shock and disbelief by what happened. They’re looking for some introspection and analysis about what really happened, what worked and what didn’t,” said Ken Martin, chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and a top campaign bundler himself. "It may take some time to do that, but people are still just scratching their heads."

Or, in the words of a Midwestern fundraiser who’s kept in touch with fellow donors, “A lot of people are saying, ‘I’m not putting another ******* dime in until someone tells me what just happened.’”

Awwww! Sucks to cough up YUGE bucks and LOSE BIGLY. To mr. Midwestern fund raiser. Your can't-i-date SUCKED and had no connection with voters. Voters saw the harridan and wanted to distance themselves from the queen of screech. Will these assclowns shut up after Monday's EC confirmation of DJT as President? Nope.

I think the reason needs to be - the Democrat party is dying.

The Democrat Party IS dying.

Problem is, a more radical Socialist party is emerging to take its place.

You'd think the big donors would've realized something was amiss. Trump was talking to rallies of thousands of people, up to five times a day. Meanwhile, hillary was devoting her time to private high-end fund raisers.

Didn't it seem a bit like "fiddling while Rome burned"?

You can’t make this stuff up.

The Clinton operators in the Democratic party sold a bill of goods for over 30 years. It was a great giant Ponzi scheme that fell apart in an oh so dramatic fashion.

Those people considered those donations to be an investment, not a contribution. Now that there’s going to be no return on that investments they are ticked off.

Oh seriously - these people need an “explanation”?

Hillary didn’t even bother campaigning! The woman was obviously having major health problems, and had all that Clinton corruption without any of Bill’s charisma.

At the end of the day the explanation is that an actual leader surfaced and screwed up the Uni-party’s plan to have token “Republican” opposition help with Hillary’s coronation.

You “big donors” would have been much better flushing all that cash down the toilet. At least you would have had something interesting to watch. I am laughing my ass off at all of you!

Completely correct.

2008 was supposed to be Hillary's for the taking, but then a young piker named Barack Hussein Obama blindsided her in the primaries and by the time she recovered politically, it was too late.

And she never learned from that lesson. Hillary's own vanity ended up destroying her campaign with what I call the Capital of Panem campaign (a reference to the fictional capital of Panem from the Hunger Games novel trilogy) that made her completely vulnerable to voters in "flyover country."

The Democrat Party is long dead already. The current Party that borrowed the name would have been, 50 years ago, the Communist Party or perhaps the Bolsheviks They have followed the process by which the Social Democrats of Russia, already a Revolutionary party split off the relative “moderates” again and again until they became the Bolsheviks who then took the name Communist Party. The Bolsheviks did it with a large axe. The Democrats have done it with a scalpel.

He was like the energizer bunny. She on the other hand appeared to have dead batteries. Guess that’s what you get when you are constantly re-assured by your lying staff (plus feeling entitled to the position) that you have nothing to worry about and are going to win by a mile.

Shut up and empty your wallet, rube.

Meanwhile, don't step on the shards of glass that was 'muh identity politics'....
