DALLAS - The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history, according to an investigation by WFAA.

Interesting, thanks.
If this nut case can’t be removed, how about a patriotic Texas Democrat switching their vote from Hillary to Trump in order to cancel out the vote of this POS.
?
Ahh, the NY Times, doing the reporting that Rolling Stone just can’t manage.
Everyone asks how this guy became an elector? I’m confused, we have a president who has a fake birth certificate that was born in Kenya. We have tons of Republicans in office that are just like this guy. I won’t name them but you know who they are.
I can’t stop laughing after reading this headline. I told my better half right away when this started this jerk did not risk anything for anyone in his entire life.
I live in TX. Last night’s news had this story (didn’t know about the fraud yet). The other electors and Republican Party members at this meeting were asking him to get out of the way and he arrogantly refused.
One Black man said he recommended him to the Repub voters back when they were choosing electors. Apparently he fell for his lies too.
Apparently, the other media darling “Republican with a conscience”, Evan McMullin, is a bit of a resume exaggerator as well; presented himself as the James Bond of the Middle East but apparently he doesn’t speak Arabic and the dates of his “service” in the CIA conflict with what’s on his resume for studying at Brigham Young.
Huh? Trump won Texas. All Texas electoral votes therefore go to Trump, assuming all electors vote as pledged. There are no Hillary electors or electoral votes from Texas to switch. Had Hillary won Texas, there would have been, but she didn't so there aren't.
Not that I particularly care for McMullen, can't stand the guy really, but intelligence agencies have been known to recruit college students.
I was watching Morning Joe (don’t ask) and just saw a commercial with this POS in the starring role.
He explained why he wasn’t voting for Trump and asked for an intel briefing for all electors.
The ad was paid for by Moveon.org PAC.
No doubt that CIA recruits college students, especially Mormons who have served as missionaries in foreign countries and learned the local language by living with the locals for 2 years. But this McMullin character apparently doesn’t even speak Arabic, despite proclaiming he was stationed in the Middle East. I don’t believe he is near the phony that the “faithless elector” Suprun is, but it appears he embellished his “master spy” resume, which for a presidential candidate, wasn’t that impressive to begin with. Whatever the truth of the matter, if he was the best candidate the Never Trumpers could offer as a Trump alternative, they failed miserably.
Running Romney was too obvious. They were certain that Utah Mormons would go for a fellow Mormon. Not enough did.
Do you think he was working for the agency while he was fulfilling the mormon mission obligation?
Thanks for the info; I too live in Texas.
The house is in his wife’s name, and she bought it new in 2004 (I checked the county appraiser website).
I wonder when they moved to Texas? I did a search and found he used to live in Fairfax county Virginia.
So, how much Soros money did he “donate” to the Rep’s campaign?
To put it bluntly, Suprun (the faithless GOP elector and self-proclaimed “9/11 first responder/hero”) is the Tonia Head of this year’s Electoral College and the media. Look Tonia Head up online if you don’t know her.
I guess this explains Suprun strange publicity seeking actions; he’s crazy. I’m surprised I haven’t seen this in more places. Maybe it will go viral today.
