Report: D.C. School Marching Bands Skipping Trump’s Inaugural Parade Christopher Wilson.
For the first time in 20 years, no Washington, D.C., public school marching band will perform at the inaugural parade.
According to a Wednesday report from NBC Washington, no local public schools submitted applications to perform in the parade. The original deadline was Nov. 28 but was extended to Dec. 5 to allow more time to apply. A D.C. public schools spokeswoman told the NBC affiliate that she was unaware of any band in the district that had applied to participate in the Jan. 20 parade.
Other high schools in the area also reportedly declined to submit applications:
No bands in Arlington County or Prince George’s County public schools applied, according to district representatives. A Fairfax County schools spokesman was not aware of any schools that had applied, and a Montgomery County schools spokeswoman did not have information available.
The University of Maryland’s College Park campus also declined to perform again. The band was performed at Obama’s 2013 inauguration.

So send the SEC Marching Bands and the HSs near them’s Marching bands. Parade 20! First Texas A&M, with their HS band choice ahead of them, then the next college band with their HS choice ahead of them and so on.

I saw the DC Ballou HS marching band in a parade once, and while they weren’t playing hip hop, the dance squad moves were right out of a strip club.
The band was pretty good.
Having been to a few urban HS football games, I can tell you the cheerleaders wear no underwear.
That’s right, F’em, send 20 bands up there, BIG Dazzle, then let the DC snowflake, handwringing, MenSeekingMen talking heads explain why the DC kids weren’t allowed to continue their tradition.
Bump that thought to the top of the choices.

GREAT!!!!! That leaves places open for Flyover Country School Bands and Southern Bands that will be honored and happy to play at the President of the united States’ Inauguration. Someday in the not too distant future the ignorant will regret their stupidity.
