A federal judge on Monday issued a stinging rejection of a Green Party-backed request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania's presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and scan some counties' election systems for signs of hacking.
In his 31-page decision, U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond said there were at least six grounds that required him to reject the Green Party's lawsuit, which had been opposed by Trump, the Pennsylvania Republican Party and the Pennsylvania attorney general's office.

Hey,
Bernie sold his soul early on to the Devil, Hillary for a Lakefront home.\
It just took Stien a while longer but she made out with a larger haul.
On FR is only place I saw it. Botom line with all the stir this story has caused the CIA will be required to put up or shut up.
DNC was not a hack it was an inside leak and not a hack per Julian Assange.
Podesta was an unsecure Gmail account with a simple password.
So a big KGB hack is big leap.
They signed an agreement not to that is binding. It was a stupid thing to do, but they did it. It just got extended for another 4 or 8 years.
It was to build a popular vote cushion that would take attention away from narrow wins in other states won by cheating. If for instance, it was the other way around and Clinton narrowly won states like PA, MI and WI, any Trump recount effort would not gather steam because she won by such a "wide margin" in the popular vote.
But alas, she did not cheat quite enough in those states as Trump's turnout was stronger than expected.
President Trump will now have four years to clean up our dirty election system. A good start will be to require voter ID in all states, eliminate early voting and restrict those who can vote by absentee. Of course this all needs to be done at state levels but Trump can apply the pressure to get it done.
I believe MI already has a voter ID law on the table and Trump hasn't even taken office yet.
Look up the 1981 consent decree, or go here: http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/gop-legally-barred-from-fighting-vote-fraud/
The consent decree was just renewed, there was a post here on FR about it in the last few weeks.
You are like my brother, a non worrier.
Well, that and the simple fact that the other side knows that if they pull this away from the winner, there will be blood. Lots of it. They don’t want to go there.
“In deciding the case, which stems from a 2008 lawsuit brought by the DNC, the district court clarified ballot security efforts as any program aimed at combating voter fraud by preventing potential voters from registering to vote or casting a ballot, and upheld the consent decree while adding a Dec. 1, 2017, expiration date.
The RNC appealed, saying that its decades-long compliance and good faith should justify ending the consent decree.”
So it ends next year?
I would focus the efforts on getting the states that formed Trump’s majority to correct their election systems...plus possibly New Hampshire, Colorado, Nevada, Minnesota, Virginia and New Mexico. That would form a solid block of electoral votes that would always overcome the California, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois block.
“Dammit Jim! I’m doctor, not a miracle worker!”
Tried to post a new post/article but I seem to be incompetent.
Wisconsin is DONE. On Time.
Time: 12/12/2016 - 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: Wisconsin Elections Commission, 212 East Washington Ave., Madison
Commissioner Mark Thomsen, Chairperson of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, will certify a canvass statement at 3:00 p.m., on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the Offices of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, located at 212 East Washington Avenue, 3rd Floor, Madison, Wisconsin.
The canvass statement that will be signed is the official Wisconsin result of the general election, conducted on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, for the Office of President of the United States.
It got extended for four years from December 2013:
In deciding the case, which stems from a 2008 lawsuit brought by the DNC, the district court clarified ballot security efforts as any program aimed at combating voter fraud by preventing potential voters from registering to vote or casting a ballot, and upheld the consent decree while adding a Dec. 1, 2017, expiration date.
The RNC appealed, saying that its decades-long compliance and good faith should justify ending the consent decree.
The Third Circuit upheld the district courts decision and modification, saying that just because the RNC had largely complied with the order, the mere passage of time does not count as a change of facts that would warrant lifting the order.
Me too.
I don’t think they KNOW they’re potentially going there!
But they will be shocked.
Liberals never see it coming and then look back and wonder why it happened.
“You and me both. Intellectually I know there’s nothing to worry about but I still won’t breath easy until I see his hand on the bible!”
You’ve just stolen my words.
the Red Greenies.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Nice play on words. Hadn’t seen it before.
Someone send Judge Diamond’s ruling to the Imbecile Senators, Hillary, Obama, and McCain.
"Thirty Days" - Chuck Berry
"Here Comes The Judge" - Shorty Long
"Here Comes The Judge" - Pigmeat Markham
There’ll be two more appeals, the last to SCOTUS.
