President-elect Donald Trump is set to embark on a tour to thank supporters who carried him to the White House.
A source in the Trump camp confirmed to NBC News Tuesday that Trump's "Thank You Tour" is set to begin on Thursday with a rally in Cincinnati.
During the campaign, Trump's rallies often drew thousands of people and were often broadcast live. Trump won Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida, states won by President Obama in 2008 and 2012.

They are paying attention to attention-whore Jill Stein to even bother with Trump.
I always felt the rallies were giving Trump the time of his life and he probably misses them since he went from 5 a day just before the election to 0 in the post election. It wouldn’t surprise me he continues them throughout his term. They would be different of course but they could be sort of like the old fireside chats Trump style.
Think the media will show the crowd size this time?
What a great idea. This should keep the base fired up and invigorate those that were on the fence. Build support and pave the way for 20 Jan 2017.
He can also go to states he didn’t campaign in as well now.
Trump needs to identify this source/leaker and isolate them and feed them outlandish BS to destroy the MSM credibility.

I also predict “lock her up” will be heard and Trump will ask them to “be nice”.
This is a great idea and shows Trump’s commitment to the people who elected him. Very un-politician like.

Notice that the article leaves out Ohio and Iowa in the list of states that Trump won that had gone for 0bama in 08 and 12.
I’m sure huge enthusiastic crowds are more fun than what he is doing now. It will be good to see him back out in public in a big way again.

Very good point. I don't see how he's going to get around this. Maybe he'll tell the crowd that we ALL owe a debt of gratitude for Clinton's service?
