Between the so-called 'Hursti Hack', questions over Soros-linked voting machines, some peculiarities in Texas, and the media furore over Trump's democracy-threatening questioning of the election outcome; it is perhaps ironic that, after being soundly beaten across the vast majority of counties in America, NY Mag reports, a group of prominent computer scientists and election lawyers are urging the Clinton campaign to call for a recount in three swing states won by Donald Trump after allegedly finding "persuasive evidence" of vote hacking.

True, though each has other areas that contributed to huge margins for Hillary. I suspect CA is facing the same problem (among others shared) as NJ: Americans are fleeing in droves.
“persuasive evidence”
And... where is it ?
Cherry-picking, just like Gore in 2000. Why those three states in particular?
Liars, damned Liars and commies...!
Hillary Clinton and surrogates, November 2016: "The system was rigged; it wasn't a fair election."
Media response: "It's a fair point. Many experts agree. We need a recount so that the True President of the United States can take her rightful place.
A group of prominent computer scientists and election lawyer say Russia did it air dropped them at night...

Oh well if it's "SCIENTISTS" we can't question what they say. Everything any scientist says is true and if you disagree you are some kind of kook living in the middle ages.
Funny how that does not seem to apply to Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Virginia and New Hampshire where Hillary won by less than a percentage point.
I guess vote hacking only exists in three states that gave Trump the presidency? Talk about convenient.
Those in private industry get to support themselves and those that work for the state.
The govt employees are grumbling because their pay, health care and pensions are not high enough.
I read that 150000 people pay the lion's share of income tax.
For each one of those that then moves out, the [percent change in decreased income from their taxes is palpable, and noted on the numbers as significant.
Yet, the state, in their infinite lib wisdom, continue packing more taxes and fees on the backs of industry and private employees.
The SF corridor, and the LA areas are deep blue due to public employees, welfare recipients, and of course illegal immigrants who vote.
It would be awesome for the rest of the state to get off their butts and vote!, We still outnumber them, but consistently show a 15-20% turnout on primaries (where candidates are picked) and not much more for general.
Moving out of state fixes nothing long term, just moves the battle to other states.
The Wisconsin story makes this particularly ludicrous. I’d like to meet the lawyer who can keep a straight face while standing up in court and claiming that hackers were responsible for Clinton’s loss in a state where she never made a single campaign appearance. LOL.
These ‘scientists’ are exactly like those 400 “Constitutional Experts/Historians” that took out a full page NYT ad in 1998 that said a BJ is not an impeachable offense.
It's nonsense because it has been so long since the voting has been completed and verified. There's no way to know how closely the original data has been secured in the interim.
No, as far as I can tell it’s been removed. Probably just in your browaser cache.
The article he based this on distorted the scientists’ remarks to absurdity. the leading scientist had to put out a correction which I linked to above.
“Would this be like demanding a recount in only certain democratic counties in Florida in 2000? Yep, I thought so.”
Ding, ding, ding we have a winner!
Good question. This is looking in some of the very least likely places to find vote fraud. Wisconsin and Michigan use paper ballots. Pennsylvania uses a combination of paper ballots and Carter-era voting machines. There is 0 (zero) opportunity for hacking. Philly is always a cauldron of fraud but a recount won't find 57,000 votes. Even if it did, Wisconsin and Michigan use paper ballots.
Only reasons that make sense are: 1.) Jill Stein wants a new house (like Bernie) and 2.) the lawyers smell money and want some.
“They come out at night, mostly”
“scientists”
“Computer scientist” is something that has been thrust onto the public, much like “fake news” has in the last few days.
We are all familiar with computer science, have known majors in that field, never regarded them as scientists. I did look up “computer scientist” on Wikipedia, where it was supposedly hashed over; did not read it. It is a stretch. Scientists and mathematicians use computers, like anyone else, as a tool. Therefore, there is bound to exist, somewhere, a hammer scientist.
NJ has a huge government-worker caste as well (with the same destructive financial impact); the retirement costs of that bloc is now devastating current services, and the problem can no longer be concealed from average people. Chris Christie helped slow the bleeding (foreclosures), but there is nothing he can do to stop the flight of wealth, employers, and anyone not tied to family or a 30-year mortgage.
The icing on the cake is the location of our capital; many state workers live (and pay lower property taxes) in PA and cross the Delaware River into Trenton every day.
