Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has confessed to modifying the posts of some users on the most visible Donald Trump-supporting "subreddit" community after they repeatedly slung verbal abuse in his direction.
The story begins earlier this week, when The New York Times published a report on Comet Ping Pong, a Washington DC pizza place that a false news item on social media had pegged as the center of a child-abuse ring run by Hillary Clinton and Democratic National Committee chair John Podesta, despite a lack of any evidence.
Following that report, Reddit took steps to shut down the "r/Pizzagate" subreddit community, which had the stated goal of proving the existence of a conspiracy centering on Comet Ping Pong. "We don’t want witchhunts on our site," says the warning that replaced the Pizzagate page on Reddit.

So the NY and Washington Times and now Yahoo is reporting on this but there’s no there, there.

Only when it fits in with their narrative of “false news”...never mind the weird code words in Podesta’s emails.

The only people in the UnitedStates right now that this government is at all interested in prosecuting for child sexual abuse are the Roman Catholic priests. Everybody else can pretty much do as they please, so long as they are willing to pass some $ under the table, lobby for this or that and so on. The richer and the more politically connected you are, you are the more you can get away with, especially in this arena.
Nope, he did far worse than that. Read the article - he basically invisibly modified posts to him to make them appear they were directed at others. Digital forgery as it were. Also, possible DMCA violation.
I hope I’m not the only one not surprised by this.

witchhunts, is that like the State Department encouraging hackers to take down Russian government websites in retaliation for “supposed” hacking by the Russian government (”the KGB did it, y’all!”) of the DNC email accounts and then providing the scandal ridden emails to wikileaks??
Clearly there are higher-up child sex rings. People do get arrested, victims do tell tales. Look at Epstein and his slave Virginia.
Strange that media and governments always want to hush up any queries about where they are or who may be involved. None of these guys seem to care about stopping or uncovering evil done to children.
Catholic here, but MAN a lot of priests got away with it without doing a day in prison. Even the great John Paul II didn’t address it enough.
I think it stems from asking them to refrain from one of God’s greatest gifts (marital relations). We end up getting lust that is horribly misdirected and evil.
Just my opinion.
There’s always room for the truth. Entrepreneurs should create new places to share it!

No, that’s not what was said. It was said that one of the top 50 most powerful men in DC, who owns two pizza shops, was a hub of the worldwide child trafficking ring, and that he donated money to the Clinton’s and that Podesta was a customer and very close friend of the pizza place/live band/ping pong/risque artwork/questionable lifestyle owner.
Reddit and Twiiter, two digital gigantic media, exposed.
The Washington Times is DC’s conservative newspaper; the Washington Post is the liberal paper usually in league with the New York Times.
Social media is a vast sewage pond.
