A German court on Monday ruled that a group of Islamists did not break the law in forming sharia police street patrols and telling people to stop drinking, gambling and listening to music. Looks like bad news for Europe, as these Sharia thugs will soon be seen across the EU. The ultra-conservative Muslim group around German Salafist convert Sven Lau sparked public outrage with their vigilante patrols in the western city of Wuppertal in 2014, but prosecutors have struggled to build a case against them. |

Not in MY damn country *ping*
Like here in the US, they apparently stopped teaching their history. They lost their sense of what it was to be Germany, what made their country, their culture, and history unique and worth respecting.
We are doing same here so won't be surprising that we'll see these in the US. I think they are already here, quietly, in some areas. That said, same is already occurring with Orthodox Jews so not a first. Just sad.
Is busting a beer stein across their face illegal, if they try to confiscate the beer?
The backlash will be worse, the more they push.
Yes, almost since the War, and now there are also some Tel Aviv air heads, who came to Berlin because you can buy a bigger chocolate pudding for cheaper there.
Where's the difference?
The orange vests make clearly defined targets.
Plus, in a group like that, one dump truck could get them all in one blow
None.
Really now? If Christians or Jews did the same thing, they’d be locked up.
OMG !
After doing a google search on this subject, I have learned this is far from an isolated incident in Europe.
Please do a google search ‘Shara Police Europe’
“Judge legalizes Muslim Brownshirts”
What’s old is new again.
“Merkels Germany is absolutely determined to commit suicide.”
Seeing as how she was reelected, I would agree with you. She is their Obama.
These guys look like they’re about to fix some potholes and the name “Orangeshirts” just doesn’t have the same zing as “Brownshirts” did.
Functionally, they’re no different though.
“Are they doing this policing in only the no go zones or in the general population area?”
Without reading, I’ll guess “It starts in no-go zones but expands into the rest of the general population because the people, police, local and state officials are too afraid of harming their delicate sensibilities to push back.”
A German court conforms sharia law, ecclesiastical law, as legal.
Good.
Christian Ecclesiastical law is then just as valid. Germans may be soon crucifying Muslims in the streets.
What a horrible situation that Germany faces!
When do we start running guns to the native German people?
I can’t speak to other European countries...just to the German situation.
These modesty patrols or Sharia Police games just haven’t worked well in Germany. A lot of young Turks just laugh in their face.
In the few isolated occasions in Germany where it’s been noted...cops usually stopped them when they were interfering with public walking and suggested they move on. These are mostly all young male punks between 18 and 25. You never find anyone in these Sharia patrols in Germany over the age of 35.
I would add this note....having lived around Germany for more than 20 years. If you were hard-core religious with any type of religion...coming to Germany and hoping to retain your religion would be an enormous risk. You can figure roughly one-third of the nation are atheist (more so in the eastern side of the country). Toss in liberal alcohol views, progressive TV, open view on marijuana, and dozens of other social values...I’d take a guess that every month...the Islamic folks lose a minimum of a thousand German believers. This Sharia Police thing would be seen as a collection of “clowns” more than anything else.
