The president-elect's former agent is said to be hoping to discuss some of Trump's initial appointments.
Is the president-elect soliciting help from his former Hollywood agent in selecting a cabinet?
Ari Emanuel, the co-CEO of entertainment and sports powerhouse WME-IMG, was spotted at the Trump National Golf Course in New Jersey on Sunday, and a WME-IMG source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that a meeting is set for this afternoon. The exact nature of the sit-down is unclear, but the Democratic stalwart Emanuel is said to be uninterested in a job in the Trump administration and instead hopes to discuss some of Trump's early decisions as president-elect.

He knows what he’s doing.
You cannot shut out the enemy because you have to find out what they have in store for you. Even patton was in contact with the krauts if they had enough, and if they didn’t, he just send more troops to punish them.
It is indeed like war. There will be many rumors.
Since the agent wasn’t involved in Trump’s election, Trump doesn’t owe the agent anything.
hat tip Hollywood Reporter.
wiki--An April 2002 lawsuit brought forth accusations Emanuel is alleged to have allowed a friend to operate a pornographic website out of Endeavor's offices.[19]
According to Epstein, Emanuel made racist and anti-gay remarks and prevented her from sending a script about Navy SEALs to actor Wesley Snipes. Ari is alleged to have said: "That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Everyone knows that blacks don't swim."[19] Emanuel disputed these accusations at the time. Epstein's claims were settled for $2.25 million.[19]
In March 2013, it was revealed that Emanuel was unhappy with an interview of him and his two brothers conducted by NBC anchor Brian Williams. According to the New York Post, Emanuel was not pleased with the "aggressive" tone of the interview and believed that "something was just off", according to a source.[20] Emanuel's lawyer sent a letter to NBC over the perceived issue.[21]
Here they are on the cover of their memoirs...issued at the time Rahm ran for reelection. Ari on the left is a Hollyweird bigwig. I think Mayor Rahm is standing on a box (to look taller).
Dont bother to buy the book---it's all about their greatness.
How they came from (gag) nothing to become power players.
========================================
(Snort) Ex-Cong Eric Cantor snidely commented: "I'm sure Rahm can't lose."
Mayor Emanuels campaign name recognition comes w/ mega-spending and mega-fundraising.
Since leaving the White House as Obamas chief of staff in 2010, Emanuel raised about $30 million in just weeks to finance his run for Mayor----and he's spending $15 million alone for his re-electionan eye-popping four times as much as the total of his four challengers combined.
And Emanuel is spending freely, nearly $7 million to monopolize the airwaves with ads----4,600 of them since November.
The HBO multi-season series Entourage was based on Ari Emanuel (the Hollywood "talent super-agent"). Emanuel only agreed to the show if actor Jeremy Piven was going to play "Ari Gold" his fictional character in the series.
Two Hollywood Mega Agencies Combine Forces, With Clients the Likes of Oprah Winfrey and Gisele Bundchen | William Morris Endeavor Acquires IMG: The Rise of Ari Emanuel - ABC, by Susanna Kim, 2013 December 18
..... "Ari is thoughtful and insightful, profane and louder than a Marshall amp when required and someone who has created a persona on the knowledge of how to use real power," Patten said. "A lot of people know him from the caricature in Entourage: superagent Ari Gold. That is part of the secret of his success. A lot of people know about him." ..... < snip > ..... "Emanuel was one of the first to recognize that the new money flowing into Hollywood was from corporate America, so he opened doors and made it easy for brands to work directly with entertainment assets," Raih said. ..... < snip >
... "Ari has a lot of ink," Patten said, in part because of the fame of his other Emanuel family members. It doesn't hurt that Emanuel's brother, Rahm Emanuel, was one of the most powerful congressman, chief of staff for President Obama, and now mayor of Chicago, while his other brother is a world-renowned doctor, Patten added. ..... < snip >
Therefore, the optics of Ari or ANY of the Emanuels going in that impressive door for a meet-and-greet with our president-elect were and are not helpful in any way to our man.
Trump will certainly meet and greet some people we hate, despise, disdain or don't trust...and it doesn't bother me a bit....but the Emanuels are beyond the pale in all aspects of personal and political repute.
For those of us who have worked our fannies off during the campaign, it's not comforting to hear that ANY of the Emanuels have entree with the president-elect. I'm a tough babe, not a snowflake at all, but this did not set well with me at all....and I'm voicing my opinion.
Trump could have had a beer with him any time in a private way in a different place ...it didn't have to take place in this particular venue at all.
I simply want to feel as proud as I can when viewing who's walking in and out of that door...even a Romney-and-worse doesn't bother me if they're answering Trump's call for a sit-down...but it DOES bother me to view any one of the opportunistic, creepy, crawly, snaky, commie Emanuel brothers boldly walking through that portal.
Make up all the excuses you want for this stupid pow-wow with Emanuel, but the only thing that came out of that scenario today was negative reactions and bewildered speculations among Trump's supporters....and more gleeful fodder for the corrupt media.
Trump's advisors should know better.

Trust Trump.
Very odd and seems like a complete waste of time, but I’ll assume Trump has his reasons.
To deliver a message to his brothers
Your life as you know it is over
Not even Jesus Christ — Emmanuel which means “God is with us.”??
Everybody take a deep breath!!
Trump knew Everybody before he ran for president.
He still does.
They could be hashing out some particulars of other running his empire while he’s pres, or they could just be old friends meeting for lunch.
He HAD to run in all circles in his career.
We’ve all had a liberal friend in our life, no?
Well, maybe not some :)
It could be as simple as old friends getting together for lunch, or to sort out affairs of his empire.
He’s not getting any advice from this guy about ANYTHING outside of who’s going to run his business while he is president.
This is NYC!! We all have a liberal friend or two in the closet!! :)
So true...par for the course.
I hope it will be. It is our last chance.
I don’t have the greatest memory, but I don’t remember in past elections so much talk about what the president elect was doing.
I’m impressed. I have to go to meetings.
Same here....
Trump can handle himself with anyone, why would meeting Ari mean anything that he can’t handle
There was never any reason that he Shouldn’t meet with the guy. People are so gun-shy they forget we just elected a master negotiator. So let him negotiate.
