full title..................Don't lock her up: Trump confidante Laura Ingraham says people 'want to turn the page' and says the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's emails.................................While chants of 'Lock Her Up' reverberated through the ballroom at Donald Trump's election night party in New York City, the president-elect's confidante Laura Ingraham suggested the new administration avoid investigating Hillary Clinton.

'I think there are a lot of people who just want to turn the page and move past this very rancorous time in American politics,' Ingraham said this morning on the 'Today' show.

Ingraham is reportedly on the short list for press secretary, so she made it clear to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that she was 'not speaking for the administration' when she said that she didn't think 'most Americans want to spend months and months and month going through what the Clintons did or didn't do at the foundation or with the private server.'

A special prosecutor should be appointed and that is it, if they find something, get a grand jury to charge her and indict her and go onto trial and let a jury decide

Trump and the administration should stay out of it and no longer comment one way or the other

That way the country can move on and justice can be served.

Equal justice under the law is a thing that Americans kind of count on, you know? I’m not familiar with “turning the page” as a legal concept.

Months and months and months and even more months that the BSM wails and whines about Hillary while without much comment the rest of Trump’s agenda just quietly gets rolled into place without much comment. Gotta learn to manage the media and torturing Hillary is a great way to do it, IMHO.

There have to be very few people here that would agree that Clinton should skate.

Her election loss will be deemed as sufficient "punishment" for her crimes. Watch and see.

This is a good reason why Kellyanne needs to be Press Secretary.

.... the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation

What kind of bull$hit is this? Let them walk?

the Clinton foundation is the very definition of all that is wrong with our corrupted government. (yes, I know the CF is not a government entity, but it is government contributions that help make it run)

These fuquers need to be in prison for what they've done.

my $.02

Getting her away from government and putting preventive measures in place is more important that locking her up.

As a former first lady and having gotten half of the vote, any charges no matter how much evidence is going to be claimed by her supporters and by the press as political charges. It will be a huge bitter battle to prosecutor her.

It’s better to let the truth come out and put preventive measures in place.

Expose her criminal activities, indite her, convict her, and send her away for a long, long time!

Chelsea is the one I want to see indicted for her garbage at the CGI. Bill and Hillary are finished. They want to thrust Chelsea on us now. Kill her political career before it gets started. Indict HER.

If she broke the law, she needs to face the punishment, whatever that may be. Let a special prosecutor and grand jury determine that.

People here want blood (myself included) but your idea seems a prudent course of action. I hope they don’t just forget about it..especially if it involves children!

I want them locked up.

While I can (maybe) understand the urge to “turn the page” if one chooses to see this as a mere “email problem” — but if the child sex stuff has any validity, you simply CANNOT ignore pedophilia. That is unpardonable, in my opinion.

NOTE: I also do not think that endangering national security through willfully and deliberately ignoring laws related to secure communications is pardonable, but I think most of the public may not grasp the details of this issue. The child sex angle (if true) would outrage 99% of all Americans.

I would like the Trump administration to conduct a full FBI investigation of the possible crimes revealed by Hillary’s emails, including the fact that the emails themselves were on her non-secure server, and then decide like any good prosecutor whether there is a case to be brought with a reasonable likelihood of conviction. Care would have to be taken to keep it from being a show trial or a trial based on the policies that she backs, since the Left will try to politicize it. Certainly, if there is evidence of child pornography and child abuse, that should be investigated in order to determine criminality and likelihood of conviction.

I trust the professionals who wi be brought in by President Trump and Attorney General Sessions to make a non-political judgment.

Clinton and her cronies need to be tried, convicted, and imprisoned.

Hundreds of thousands of current and former military, intelligence and related contractor personnel demand it. Justice demands it.
