Any interest in an official Free Republic Trump Inaugural Ball?
When did Newseum tickets for Inauguration Day go on sale? Are they sold out?
I wish!
It’s all I can do to get out for grocery shopping and doctor appointments.
I hope there will be a FReeper Inaugural Ball, with lots of pictures.
Yes!

I only gave $200 to the campaign.
I was thinking of hiring a car, but wasn’t sure if the traffic would allow for us to even get into DC from Alexandria. I know the water taxis usually aren’t running on inauguration, and if the streets are looking to be blocked - I have the metro as a backup. Only a million people will take the metro that day - what could go wrong? Ugh. I don’t like being on them anyway, but many people coming in won’t have any other choice. I am trying to find as many options as possible and know how to use them. I have to get UBER figured out as I have never used it. My personal car will be staying in the lot though. If my BIL didn’t have to be on duty that day we’d be all set. :(
THe tickets went on sale Monday. I don’t know if they are sold out. Go to the website but you have to be a member to get the tickets. If there are any left a week before I believe they will go for $500.
I think it would be wonderful! But, chances are too expensive. Maybe, you could hold it at the new Trump International Hotel in D.C.?
I would love to but I will be working...imagine that...But you and all the Freepers who do go...my spirit will be with ya!
Deal me in. And the Mrs.
We used it in 81 for the afternoon event...then to family home in Loudon and dress for Ball, drove in at night...Flat fee that day and all workers are off so even parking at the metro was open. Has it changed?
You are funny and have my kind of sense of humor!
I served Suoper TRUMPTASTIC chicken soup to the volunteers one day and Donald’s ROOTIN TOOTIN Root Beer Floats another afternoon...I could name many more events but will end with BARON’s Brownie Party. ( we ran out of days to have BREAKFAST with TIFFANY)
If I’m not mistaken, the $500 tickets go on sale on November 30...first come, first served.
Yes
Jim, I can’t go; but, would like to sponsor a veteran. Is there a way to do that?
If we have a ball I am taking a disabled vet and his wife with me.
He walks but has leg braces...He ran the Trump Primary Office here.
He is taking his 2 boys (9 and 11) to the ceremony too. We have applied for tickets through our Congressman.
Great idea. Wish I could make it. I hope everyone has a wonderful time.
Sounds good to me.
