I worked on Capitol Hill for 30 years, and attended a Howard Baker inaugural reception in the Capitol Building for the first election of President Reagan. I was able to meet him face-to-face and shake hands with him less then a half hour after his swearing-in ceremony. Also met Elizabeth Taylor at that reception.
Hell yeah, let’s party. I live only 150 miles from D.C.
Maybe, you could hold it at the new Trump International Hotel in D.C.?

Well if people are using buses to attend the Inaugural events, I recommend that they be booked now because this event will suck up all the bus transportation available.
Is this actually happening? I’d love to attend. Is there a venue selected?

My husband 'zelig' and I have been interested in attending a FReeper ball, as we greatly enjoyed the previous two awesome FR Balls during the GWB inaugurations.
After election day 2016, we were about 75% sure we could attend a FReeper Ball in DC, if one was held. It's kind of down in the 25% range now, but ya never know.
Whether or not there will be a FReeper Ball, please let me know if you can.
