Would I ever LOVE to be there!!

But unfortunately, I’m caring for DH and a grown daughter. My time and travel is limited. However, I will be watching what develops.

So you live in the DC metro area. Are you or relatives old enough to remember the “great” 7” snowfall that nearly destroyed the Kennedy inaugural? So many out of towners, so many drivers from the south with so little snow driving experience. What a mess, what gridlock, what fun!!

#106 and others. Re a FR inaugural ball.

Let’s call the FR inauguration event the “Drain The Swamp” Romp Ball, featuring the band, “The Deplorables”.

Local singers, the Trumpeteers” who will have as a guest singer Ann “Screw You” Coulter. (OK, we invite her and if she can’t make it, we’ll get a life-sized cardboard image of her and dub her voice in).

MC’ed by the fabulous “Velvet Voice”, Jim Robinson.

Food theme: “Tea and Trumpets” (as versus the Clinton inauguration which had “Tea and Strumpets”.

The Robertson Family’s famous roast duck and taters. Free duck calls to the first hundred people through the door.

Sarah Palin’s famous “Moose Chili” and Penguin Pie.

Drinks: “Gator Aide”, courtesy of the Robertsons, made from real gators (no artificial ingredients, ever).

Desert: “Chocolate Trump Victory Cake” with Middle Lady Fingers on top.

And, the never-before-tasted “Democrat Party Losers Jello” - made from spineless Jelly Fish, with a yellow color, and white “Surrender” Whipped Cream on top.

Door Prizes: 100 free tickets to visit Hillary Clinton in jail. Pass Go tickets and get $200 from the Clinton Foundation bail fund included.

25 Pink Energizer Stuffed Bunnies signed by Bill Clinton

10 Chances to win lists of the top Cattle Futures predictions for 2017.

One pigeon-pooped on blue dress.

A year’s supply of Little Antny’s “All Beef Weiners” with rolls and selfies.

And the greatest prize of all, an all day audit trip of the White House’s silver, dishes and painting before the Obamas leave.

I only lives a few miles from the soon-to-be denamed Red House so drop by and say “YES WE DID”!

I would avoid the Metro at all costs on inauguration Day. The crazies will be out in force and you might be risking your life. Call an Uber.

Don’t know if I can make it for cancer reasons but happy to supply souvenir apparel or novelties at cost. Maybe buy some tickets for freepers who can make the trip but are tight on funds.

Some other entity is making noises about a ball. Personally, I don’t believe that we can recapture the spirit of “The Count the Silverware Ball.” Freepers weren’t at the White House every Saturday. Other than the Zero Care Rally, conservative didn’t come to DC.

I would be interested, but only if it is on the weekend. The inauguration is on a Friday, and there is no way I am going to attempt to go to DC on a weekday when a big event is going on.

A ball on Saturday might be doable.

It may not be the same feeling but it'll be a new, different feeling. We came sooooo close to having those people back in the White House. It's such a relief and a renewed optimism in the salvation of our country that FReepers will "party hardy" for Trump!

I’ll look — I looked on booking.com and hotels that are normally $200 a night are going for thousands!

That would be the coolest thing ever. A stretch for me, but I’m gonna keep my eyes open for the opportunity to go, I can’t imagine how awesome it would be to meet everyone, and under such joyous circumstances!!!
