Brittany Daughenbaugh couldn't sleep, so the Capital University student decided to go on a Pokemon Go hunt in the early hours of Thursday morning. She had seen the men across Francis Street but paid them no mind. She was on the trail of a good catch.
"Suddenly, they're behind me," Daughenbaugh, 20, said Monday. One man wore a "Make America Great Again" hat and the other a "Trump-Pence" sweatshirt.
She said the sweatshirted man grabbed her arm and told her, "Don't you worry, honey. President Trump says this is OK." He then punched her in the face and the arm. She fell, hit her head on the pavement and blacked out.
Bexley police are investigating the attack on Daughenbaugh, a white woman, by two white men in their late teens or 20s. . .

Why are the media frantically searching for alleged Trump originated/blamed assault incidents, while we are experiencing a tsunami of Trump supporters being assaulted, bullied, and attacked?
Just about anywhere in this country, it is very disturbing to feel like you are not free to wear a Trump hat or T-shirt. Or you cannot put a sticker on your car or a sign on your lawn without risking vandalism and assault.
I started my TV career being a Script Reader for a small production company here in Denver in the early 90s. Even back then, I would have flagged that scene and dialogue as contrived.

They were vicious and hateful.
