The Republican Party still has an identity crises.

The election of Donald Trump proved beyond any doubt that the globalist Free Trader faction that dominates the upper echelons of the Republican Party, "Conservative" talk radio and Fox represents just a minuscule fraction of the Republican Party rank and file. The Republican party has a new ally in the the so called "Reagan Democrat". Without them Trump's would have never won on Tuesday and I am grateful for them.

There is still a long term problem for the Republican Party however. The Republican Party, historically the protectionist party, could lose that legion of "Rust Belt" voters if they hang on to this malicious and false idea( actually a religion ) that Free Trade and globalism are "Conservative" and have a home in the Republican Party. This new Republican coalition could have a long life depending whether patriots can purge out the globalist Bushbots from our midst. Like I said the ones that think globalism and de industrialization are Conservative Values. They may be Conservative values on K - Street but not on Main Street.

Both parties are having a crisis. It’s time to dump both parties and form two new ones. The Freedom and America loving Conservative Party and the America-hating Communist party for those who hate the skin and genitals that they were born with.

There is no “free trade”. It is managed trade, run by large bureaucracies created during these mega-deals. Congress & the WH abdicated their responsibilities to supra-nationalist entities who could care less about the US manufacturing base.

Pat Buchanan understood this. Duncan Hunter understood this. Jeff Sessions came to understand it, along with a handful of others.

Now the party understands it because Trump shoved it down their throats.

“The Republican party has a new ally in the the so called ‘Reagan Democrat’.”

Sorry, but they are NOT Reagan Democrats anymore, they are REPUBLICAN VOTERS now. They vote straight-ticket Republican, which is why we own the House and huge numbers of lower offices. Reagan Democrats were entirely different. They voted for Reagan, and then voted Democrat down-ticket, which is why Reagan never got control of the House, and why the South stayed rock-solid Democrat.

The BIG QUESTION now is whether the IDIOTS that run the Republican Party understand that these people will either stay home, or (sometimes) go back to voting Democrat, if they are treated like shit by the Republican Party, which was the case until Trump came along. Personally I think the Republican leaders are too dumb to figure out that they have a near-permanent majority, if they would only LISTEN TO THEIR VOTERS.

But I do have some optimism that Trump will drain the swamp and maybe replace them with people that actually will listen...but time will tell.

Hey buck wheat tell me how do protectionist blue collar former Democrats and globalist free traders exist in the same political party? The answer is they don't.

Since there are legion of Regan Democrats and only handful of Free Traitor™ it is imperative that Republicans ditch them as fast as possible or this will be the shorted lived collation ever.

Limbaugh is pretending he was for Trump the whole time. What a joke he is. You Free Traitors™ need to go away.

Like I said the ones that think globalism and de industrialization are Conservative Values.

Starting early in the primaries, there was a lot of spitting fuming even here at FR about whether so-called free trade and globalism were conservative values. It took months before most agreed that those are not conservative values. The purge might be long and bloody, or politicians being politicians, many might read the writing on the wall and see the light with amazing speed.

But no doubt the Bushes and Bushism needs to go and never allowed to infest the party again. They can get with George Will and Bill Krystol and form a new party.

Don’t worry. If anyone historian is honest, and its not black and white, not everyone, but as a whole, the Bushes and the necons infiltrated and took over the party of Reagan.

The neconservatives were Democrats who believed in big government and only moved to the Republican party when Dems became doves (i.e. Karuthammer) We ended up with the worst of the worst. Globalists, Big Business, Nation Builders, Open Borders.

W’s platform was almost solely run by the neconservatives.

Trrump is far more like Reagan.

If the Republican doesn’t return to it’s traditional protectionist roots this coalition will melt away faster then an ice cream cone in Michael Moore’s fat hand.

Trump built a great coalition and the GOPe hates it because K -Street hates it. Follow the money. That is an identity crisis if ever there was one.

The result of this election is that both the RNC and the DNC are gone, they’ve been destroyed. The new Republican party that rises won’t resemble the old one that was beholden to beltway graft and crime, and didn’t listen to the base.

It won’t be the same old song with different players, something major has shifted. We’ll get a SCOTUS that reflects real conservative values, we’ll put America first again, and rebuild our crumbling nation, we’ll eliminate the influence of whiny bureaucrats and academics, and focus on making America prosperous again. We’ll cut through the red tape and wipe out regulations.

We’ll encourage small business and reward initiative, and free up the markets. No more rigged crony capitalism, or stupid, endless wars for profit.

The worms and parasites are going to try to re-attach themselves to our party now that we’ve won a decisive victory. We’ve got to stand up to them, and prevent them from influencing or sabotaging what we’ve accomplished. The knives are already out to try and drag us back into the swamp. We’ve got to resist, and drain it.

The Republican RINO party has punked out at every turn for the past 8 years. They can now get on board with Trump or get out of the way.
I am disgusted with them.

I do not see the contradiction. They have told us ever since Reagan that we had to have the lesser of two evils. Now no matter that the Dem candidate is as evil as Hi-liar-y or Obama, we are not putting in a Romney, Dole, McCain, or Bush ever again!

I am not familiar with this source, but it makes sense. Anyone else hear this?

Now that Mich. is counted, TRUMP WINS POPULAR VOTE

http://conservativespirit.com/breaking-final-election-2016-numbers

Final #Election2016 numbers

#PopularVote: #Trump: 62,972,226 #Clinton: 62,277,750

#ElectoralCollege vote #Trump 306 #Clinton 232

To all the liberal loonies still rioting because you claim Trump did not get the popular vote, get your meds now and prepare to be shocked because the finals results are in. Trump got 306 Electoral College vote while Hillary Clinton got 232. For #PopularVote: #Trump: 62,972,226 #Clinton: 62,277,750

Go see your therapists now – or maybe do a 24/7 yoga until you recover from this shock.

Tonight Michigan was finally called for Donald Trump moving his Electoral College (EC) count up to 306 total to Hillary Clinton’s 232. (Although Google will still not report it like other media institutions.)

media is also hiding from you that Trump CRUSHED Hillary in the Electoral College (EC). As of today, most if not all media outlets show that Trump won the election with only 279 EC votes. But the truth is Trump also won Michigan with 16 EC votes and Arizona with 11 EC votes for a total of 306 EC votes. Hillary only won 228 EC votes but it looks like she barely won New Hampshire which should put her at 232 EC votes. As a result, Trump won 57% of all EC votes.

I’m not sure the “Republicans” (as we know them) won. Donald Trump won, but he is almost like a third party with “the movement” thing going on. I think the Republican Party as we think/thought of it is something relegated to history. What is happening is not “Republican” it is something much better.

I think the unformed T.E.A. Party won. I think we must now infiltrate the GOP at all levels and take it back, or leave it to become a real third party with strength and numbers and voice.
