(COREY SIPKIN/NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) A record number of anguished calls flooded suicide prevention hotlines just before and after Donald Trump secured his shocking presidential victory.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline received 660 calls between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Wednesday — 2½ times the average.
“It clearly is and was an indication that there’s a lot of anxiety and fear around the election,” director John Draper told the Daily News.
The hotline often receives an uptick in calls during major events like natural disasters or even elections.

This reminds me what the people of Saipan did when we were liberating the island in WWII. They jumped off cliffs. Now why would the do that? And this something ignorant leftists should educate themselves about. They were indoctrinated by disinformation.

They actually need a person to deprogram them.
Honestly, there should be big money out there for some entity that starts a detox program rescuing kids from the university environment, and explaining to them how they have been lied to and mistreated.
This is mind numbing abuse where the university takes control and seriously f’s up these young kids who were so trusting.
Can you imagine wanting to commit suicide over an ELECTION?

I’m at the point where I wouldn’t care if they did do away with themselves-——but they wont.

Yeah, let me tell you about their worthless liberal arts diplomas. I “earned” one of those back in the early 90’s. It was so valuable that I was able to land a job a UPS sorting facility in Louisville, and then decided to pay my huge loans off by enlisting in the Army.
Thankfully, the Army got me on the path of my current career, an RN. Universities are the biggest racket going. They sell huge blocks of student loan debt, indoctrination into a victim culture, and an utterly worthless diploma in a lot of cases. Unless one is going into something that equals to job training, such as Law, medicine, nursing, engineering etc, college is a waste of money. I have encouraged our kids to look into vocational programs. Hell, the HVAC guy that works on my air is doing very well these days. We need more of those guys and not pansified social justice wimps.
That’s what I love about liberals and Muslims, they like to self destruct. You don’t have to do anything, just sit back and pass the popcorn.

Well, as a kid you think grown-ups know it all.
Then you grow up and become one and realize that isn’t true at all.
This is how it always was, but you just never knew it.
I will say, I think it’s worse today. Fewer adults went through the military. They drifted.
Then our universities are also turning out some just plain mush head adults too.
And then the press says, “People with degress are capable of figuring this out where those with only a high school education can’t.
It’s just the opposite. Kids leave high school for the most part fairly level headed. The universities take care of that in short order.
Good is bad. Bad is good. Up is down. Down is up. Those kids don’t know which way is up by the time they leave. There is no right or wrong. They’re totally incapable of making a moral decision.
This has been ramped up a lot over the last 15 years evidently.

That's a great idea and much needed. As for the person I knew, I tried to help deprogram him from the liberal culture he believed in so much. He was really deep in to it because of the bubble he lived in and of course, his parents encouraged. They moved away so not sure what happened but I planted a few seeds of why what they believe doesn't work, so who knows.

They shut the DUmp down and blamed it on a trump hacker day of election, before it melted down... lol. It was still down earlier today. Who knows maybe it was hacked, but not by who they think. I myself looked forward to watching the meltdown after their gloating the past 8 years. I was bummed too, Probably a good percentage of these calls without the others at the DUmp to talk them down...
I thought a lot of the LGBTQXYZ crowd voted for Trump, because he promised to protect them from terrorists and the Democrats didn’t.
If any of these idiots calls a suicide hotline, the counselor should simply say, “you don’t have the balls”
If I had acted this way as a kid, my dad would have kicked my ass into next week!
If the phenomenon is terminal, frankly, there are none of them I would miss and the nation would be a tad less hectic after all the funerals are done, especially if that other group is all gone abroad..
