This wasnt a squeaker, this wasnt even close. It was a blowout. Thats a whole lot of deplorables. The voiceless had their day. Today, America is great again. #AGA
[306 = 76% of the Electoral Vote!!!!]
DONALD TRUMP is the PRESIDENT-ELECT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, and he did it by COMPLETELY BLOWING UP the ELECTORAL MAP and all our projections and expectations....
Trump won his must-win states of Ohio, Florida and North Carolina in races that were called on Tuesday night.
He won his other apparent must-win state, blue-leaning swing state Pennsylvania, which was called for Trump early Wednesday morning.
Not stopping there, he won two states in which he didnt even campaign until the final week of the 2016 election: Michigan and Wisconsin. These, like Pennsylvania, are states that have long eluded the GOPs grasp and didnt seem likely to be winnable for Trump.
All of this disproves the idea, which we and everyone else have espoused early and often, that TRUMP'S path to VICTORY was narrow.
It wasn't. It was broad. We were wrong. The polls were wrong. We fundamentally misunderstood this election.
We thought Hillary Clinton might be winning red states. But DONALD TRUMP WON BLUE STATES.
Snip
Trump won all of his "must-win" states, anyway, and then added some states that we barely gave him a chance in, proving that everything we thought we knew about the polls and the electoral map was wrong, wrong wrong.

Yep
A “Republican” Rep. Ralph Abraham of Monroe, LA, is calling for abolition of the electoral college. Had his “advice” been followed Mrs. Bill would have won after all. Any comments from the Monroe district? Why don’t you choose a good congressman there? The district is safely Republican.
I live in California and my husband and I support Trump, as do our friends. One friend was so troubled because her vote, and the vote of a couple of friends who get together to discuss issues while filling out their ballots all forgot to date the exterior envelope on their absentee ballots and she discovered at our monthly lunch group that all three votes would be discarded for that omission (one friend volunteers at her polling place and knows all the rules). No biggie, we reminded her not to worry, we all live in California and Hillary would win California anyway regardless. And, of course, California did vote Hillary en masse. She was still a bit downcast that their vote for the issues would not be considered, but Trump was their main concern.
No, 56.9 percent
306/538
It was neck-in-neck but it isn’t now.
In Electoral Votes it was a blow out.
Newspeeps are holding onto the neck-in-neck popular vote when Trump is well over 300+ in Electoral Votes.
They aren’t able or willing to move on yet...the map isn’t being finished.(IMHO)
“Had his advice been followed Mrs. Bill would have won after all.”
She wouldn’t have won legitimately, even then. Far too many illegal votes and fraudulent votes in Rat strongholds.
Don’t forget the 60,000 newly enfranchised criminals in the state of Virginia... a state Hillary won by... 60,000 votes.
Says trump is behind
I think you misinterpreted.
CNN projected Trump as the winner of the election instead of winner of the popular vote.
It is somewhat confusing the way CNN presented it.
"Ceterum censeo Hillary esse delendam."

Yes! I love your words of destruction of Clinton and Bush dynasties........sweet!......;)
Disagree: I think Danette is correct.
The CNN “tab” (you have to click on the “projected tab” at the top of the page linked below) for the projected popular vote clearly shows the orange colored “winner” band has Trump as the projected winner ...same w/the graph shown below it; the orange “winner” color is the Trump “bar” on the graph.
The vote is still being counted and CNN believes that the votes that are still out and are in predominantly “red” (Republican/Conservative) areas that will put Trump “over the top” for the popular vote.

Yes. Plus, Bill Mitchell from twitter says Trump will have popular vote because they are counting mostly republican counties now.
Pls see Post #74 it explains why I believe Danette is correct. CNN BELEIVES that Trump will win the popular vote; while he is slightly behind, at present, the vote has not all been counted and CNN PROJECTS that the areas to be counted are Republican/Conservative areas that will put Trump “over the top” when they are finally tabulated.
Bottom line: Trump is presently slightly behind; but, CNN THINKS he will surpass The Witch of Chappaqua ...may not happen; but, it’s their best guess at present.
I see nothing of projecting, believing or thinking ...
I guess I overestimated the fraud abilities of Philly. I think what really happened is the fraud machine didn't like Hillary enough to drag her across the finish line.
I really feel CA should be broken into two - north & south CA. A republican basically starts the day 55 EV’s down, 1/5th of what is needed to win.
“I see nothing of projecting, believing or thinking ...”

Go to this link: http://www.cnn.com/election/results
Click on the gray tab that says “popular vote” ...beside the “national map” tab; just below the picture of Trump w/ “290Trump” and a check mark beside it (lower left screen).
You will now see a large orange horizontal band that displays “popular vote” ...on the other end of that band it also displays “trump” with a check mark beside it and “projected winner” above it.
There is also a color coded bar graph below that which has the orange color coded bar for Trump as “projected winner.”
“Believing” and “thinking” were my terms that I merely used to explain that this is CNN’s projection ...best educated guess; since the votes are still being tabulated.
