A Resident Advisor at The George Washington University (GWU) has some choice words for the more than 1,000 residents of Thurston Hall, the largest freshman dormitory on campus.
A bulletin board on the first floor of the dorm was decorated with the theme “Check Your Privilege." A statement included on the bottom of the board states “Becoming aware of privilege should not be viewed as a burden or source of guilt, but rather an opportunity to learn and be responsible so that we may work toward a more just and inclusive world.”

Here in NYC it’s the Jews, not the Christians, who can expect extra time off for religious holidays. Muslims are coming up in this area, though.
What they mean is:
“We are replacing you White Christians with throwbacks who worship a hateful concept of a deity, and who will rape you, burn you, and kill you, while they breed multiple litters with their 4 breeding-mares, and they live high off the hog with your money. Feel ashamed of being Christian and White!”
My answer:
No f*cking way. Go to hell.

This whole “check your privilege” nonsense would seem to be the most recent horse sh*t collegiate PC meme.
Just another pseudo-intellectual fashion observed by various academic morons and mediocrities, and something which will be gone in six months - ceding its place to something else equally banal.
I have checked my “white male, christian” privilege and am pleased to report back that I’m proud it’s still with me and will continue to take every advantage of it that I can.
I will continue to check on it regularly in the future and will fight with all my might to keep it safe and warm.
That’s why I was so pleased to cast my vote for Trump. :)
Is that “check” as in “I checked, all is in good working order”?
Or “check” as in leave your gun at the bar, or your hat in the coat room?

If one must self-assess and “check” (that is, self-deny) a ‘privilege’, then the authority which requires the checking is turning the privilege into a repression.

The only institutionalized discrimination in existence in the US today is against white christian males.
