An Iowa Congressman claimed on Sunday that Republicans on Capitol Hill have copies of the 650,000 emails the FBI recovered from a computer belonging to Anthony Weiner.
'The good thing is, Congress has preserved them for our access,' Iowa Rep. Steve King said before a Donald Trump rally in Sioux City.
'So the Weiner leaks, the WikiLeaks, you name your leaks, we've got our hands on all of them – 650,000 emails.'
King also suggested that the number of emails related to the FBI investigation may be larger than 650,000.

The Congress cannot legally do much with them - there needs to be a special prosecutor and official indictment.
They can be used to help ensure things are handled legally though because any proof of malfeasance can be addressed once it occurs.
If it looks like a cover-up happening they can also spread the info far and wide to incense the People ... Knowledge is power and those who may be on our side against the Clinton machine need all the power available.
And, this could be a bluff by congress to keep Comey honest.

It seems as if Huma, Carlos, Huma’s family and friends, Carlos Danger’s many online friends, (half?) a dozen foreign governments, the CIA, Hillary’s maid, the FBI, the NSA, the congress, the NYPD, some computer company in Colorado, Hillary, Bill, and Chelsea, some Romanian farmer, just about anybody who has a computer and wants them have these emails, classified or not. Do any of these people have clearance? They don’t have enough jail cells to put away everybody who has access to these emails.

Not good enough. They should all surrender themselves to the proper authorities for possess illegally obtained classified documents, and Paul Ryan should surrender twice for attempting to flush them down the toilet, and for backing up the toilet and making a mess.

Goes back to the congressional post office scandal. Only a much bigger and very much more nefarious group of collaborating actors on both sides of the aisle. The post office scandal caught about 40 congressmen on both sides, in both houses of congress. Human nature does not change, only the type and magnitude of the crime and the boldness of those involved.
