Congressman says Republican lawmakers have their own set of Anthony Weiner's 650,000 emails
Daily Mail ^

An Iowa Congressman claimed on Sunday that Republicans on Capitol Hill have copies of the 650,000 emails the FBI recovered from a computer belonging to Anthony Weiner.

'The good thing is, Congress has preserved them for our access,' Iowa Rep. Steve King said before a Donald Trump rally in Sioux City.

'So the Weiner leaks, the WikiLeaks, you name your leaks, we've got our hands on all of them – 650,000 emails.'

King also suggested that the number of emails related to the FBI investigation may be larger than 650,000.

For the first time this election season, I am concerned.

If any of this stuff gets leaked prior to PIAPS getting formally arrested, is there a chance it cannot be submitted in a trial?

Or, is the more logical approach to use the emails to secure evidence that would be submitted formally.

I simply don’t like the prospects of any Republican congresscritters sympathetic to that fat Marxist pig leaking information that could help Hillary skate prosecution.

Instead of simply boasting that he has the full set of e-mails, perhaps this dum-dum might share with us what the nature of the corruption is that’s contained in the e-mails. What is he waiting for?

And what are they going to do with them besides absolutely nothing?

Wait for the NYT to tell them it's unfair for them to have them, then destroy them..

I may swim against the tide here, but it would not surprise me in the least if certain GOP leaders in congress are part of the Clinton game. It’s simply too big with too much money at stake to think otherwise.

Consider as exhibit 1 - the TEA party swept them into power with one clear message. Cut spending and get our fiscal house in order.

They have not cut one dime and have hardly opposed a single thing.

Did not make sense then, but perhaps it makes sense now that the onion of corruption in our government is being peeled away.

What are they doing with them?

Sure there are many Republicans looking through them to make sure they won’t be arrested soon.

CNN needs to remind Congress that only they can read and interpret these emails. What’s the matter with them!

This was done by NYPD to keep everyone honest ,in my opinion.

If so, the NYPD has to be extremely careful.

If there are highly-classified emails in that cache, they are potentially committing a crime by leaking them to people not cleared to receive them.

While the First Amendment would provide some protection, if any of them have signed a classfied info NDA with the federal government at some point in the past, he/she could be prosecuted on that basis.

We can only hope this is a good thing.

Given the putrescence of The Swamp, it’s anyone’s guess.

They should all be released on the internet for public consumption

All of our 'enemies' already have them.
