Americans who lived through the nightmares of both the Watergate and Lewinsky scandals recall vividly how every day seemed to produce new evidence of wrongdoing. The drip, drip of deceptions and lies finally overflowed into a cascading pool of criminality and disgust.
The first scandal culminated in Articles of Impeachment. The other an impeachment trial. Is America now hurtling toward the same political abyss? It looks like it. So, fasten your seat belts and brace for impact.
Sources tell Fox News’s Bret Baier that the FBI has uncovered an “avalanche of evidence” in the Clinton Foundation investigation.
Agents are “actively and aggressively pursuing this case,” calling it a “very high priority.”
Armed with newly discovered email evidence and additional documents revealed by WikiLeaks, these sources say that agents will likely try to get Huma Abedin and others to cooperate in an effort to bring criminal charges against Hillary Clinton.
It is a stunning development. But that’s how avalanches happen. Suddenly, you’re buried before you know it.
If this is true, and if Clinton is elected president in a few days but thereafter indicted, several scenarios could unfold.

I agree. I don’t want for her to just “face charges” and ride off into the sunset as an unpopular public figure. I want her to suffer the same consequences as would any other American, who is not of the “elite” class. I would like to see all of their assets taken, and any federal pensions garnished. I know I expect a lot.
Nor should we, until actual, substantiated, reputable sources have verified such an investigation is on. So far all I've seen are blogs or "some guy online says..."

We really have to commend Rush Limbaugh on this. Very early on, he called the Clinton Foundation and CGI a “slush fund” for the Clintons — raising money for them to use as they saw fit regardless of legality.
He then began calling it the “Clinton Crime Family Foundation,” LONG before others were. His early calling of this for what it is earned him lots of opprobrium, but he weathered all that and persisted on calling out the Clintons.
He has been SO right on all of this and has been exposing the corruption for several years now. Big kudos to Rush on his efforts to expose this and make it understandable to everyday Americans!
The tendency today is to a lot of plea bargaining, with almost never close to the worst possible penalty imposed, unless something like a murder can be pinned on the person.
That would be the thing to ask about, though, with the infamous Arkancides. We should beseech the Lord to turn up the explanation for those. If she and Bill arranged for a MURDER... that is quite a different picture. She’d be on everybody’s shit list now, and Trump would be the hero supreme.
Is it me, or are the usual talking heads that pop up around the time of POTUS elections quiet this time around?
For example, over the course of the past few months, I’ve only seen a couple of quotes from Dingy Harry and Dingbat Pelosi. Also, I haven’t seen Chuck Schumer mentioned at all this election, and he stands to become Senate MINORITY/majority leader depending on the outcome of the election. Moreover, the man has a serious camera fetish. Wouldn’t you think he’d be out there campaigning for various Senate candidates bragging about his potential future role? Usually they’re *all* out there pandering for party support.
Something seems amiss ... maybe it’s just me ... I proudly admit I tend to read MSM news articles that are shared here on FR and nowhere else. FR tends to get articles from both sides of the spectrum (with the other side of the spectrum duly noted in the form of barf alerts :-) ).
Still, even with the inherent bias in my “analysis”, something seems flat out wrong this time around ... this is the 5th POTUS election where I followed breaking events on FR and I am shocked that there aren’t more comments from the DC peanut gallery in various news articles :-).
Maybe they *really* are all dreading news that might be about to break! :-) Or maybe I’m flat out missing a lot of news this time around since I canceled cable and don’t watch the news much anymore. Anyone else seem to notice this?
This is the Achilles’ heel of modern public consensus, unfortunately. Unless the secular TV heads yack about it, it did not happen.
What will take the place of this? I would dare to venture that it would need to be the churches, and that would also entail a lot more respect for churches than they have recently gotten.
I remember being so happy to see the Clintons FINALLY LEAVE the White House in January 2001.
I remember thinking the “hillbilly trash and scum” are gone!
To think that they may return to the White House, filthier, older, and even more corrupt, makes me shutter for our nation.
