Nationally, African-American enthusiasm has dipped compared with that in 2012, according to the New York Times. Thats a surprising and disquieting development for Democrats who believed Trumps racial appeals and flirtations with the birther movement would generate more urgency, the Times reported.
For example, in the two Virginia districts with the largest percentage of African American adults, early voting has dropped by more than 50 percent, the Times said.
In Ohio, the decline of early voting in heavily Democratic African-American districts is causing worry for Democrats and a shift of resources into the low-turnout areas. Hillary Clinton, according to the Blade newspaper, returns to Ohio on Monday with early-vote rallies planned in Cleveland and Cincinnati, and President Obama will rally in Columbus on Tuesday, also to encourage that early-vote turnout.
In Florida, the bad news for Clinton/good news for Trump is that African-Americans and millenials are voting considerably lighter so far than four years ago, the Tampa Bay Times reported Oct. 31.
In North Carolina, white voters are currently 72 percent of all absentee ballots cast, with black voters being 22 percent and all other races 6 percent. This represents a steady continuation of the trends that we have seen, with white voters over-performing their 2012 numbers and black voters under-performing their 2012 numbers, Blitzer said at his blog, Old North State Politics.

They acknowledged this on CNN tonight, but only briefly in the midst of “Hillary is winning every state, Hillary cannot lose, all Trump gains are illusory or non existent.”
The fat woman down the street has been yelling out the karaoke for a couple of days. I thought She was trying to audition for Guam’s got NO talent. I was out in the yard and to get the lawn mower out to drown her out.
Maybe she’s practicing for election night.
What percentage of black voters became sexist this year?
it amazes me that people think that the turnout for the first (half) black president can be equaled by an uninspiring white female.
Hillary is an OLD white woman, whom nobody likes, so WHY should she be expected to get the kind of voter turnout that Obama did...just because she has a big, dirty D by her name? That's laughable! This was to be expected!

Also if the Black vote is down 50% but Trump gets 25% of the Black vote does that mean that Trump will get effectively 1/2 the votes from Blacks that vote?
I’ve been saying this in multiple threads. The black vote is offended. Check the youtube video “The Hood for Trump”. They’re not going to vote in Obama numbers for an old, white, establishment woman after having a black democrat POTUS that they feel has failed them.
This alone could derail her campaign.
I go to probably 50 black homes a year for my job. In the pre obama days it was typical to see a portrait of MLK prominently displayed in the living room. Then Obama’s portrait took that spot and MLK’s portrait was moved to the side.
Nobody is gonna put up a Hillary portrait. It doesn’t even matter who the other candidate is. Blacks are especially proud to have one of their own as president. It stands to reason that the black turnout would revert to typical norms before 2008. This isn’t rocket science to me, so I don’t know why this is even newsworthy to begin with.
What about the vagina vote?
The problem is that in many Black locales, they will vote for Hillary even if they do not show up.
Oh please. Who in their right mind thought AAs would show the same enthusiasm for Granny Pickles as they did for Obama?
From the uniparty media who says we arent supposed to care about/notice race.
I don’t think any of the polls are based on this turnout model.
I've talked with well over a dozen who have and most say the Hillary supporters in the Black community have become lukewarm since the 2nd debate.
Yes.
If you look at numbers....even the 2012 election (66 million) was a lesser win than 2008 (69.5 million). If I were going to take an educated guess....at the very best (without health or email troubles), Hillary would have taken probably 64 million. Once you toss on the negative situations....I just don’t see how she crosses the 60-million point.
But you bring up the number negative problem with Hillary....there is no enthusiasm or speech-dynamics associated with her. I sat and watched several of the Bernie speeches back in February, and he could actually deliver some effective speeches. The college crowd found comfort and charm with Bernie. You just can’t say that about Hillary.
You're kidding. Haven't those people ever been to the paint department at Lowe's?
well it’s only one state...oh wait, that’s Virginia...
