That would be what I have learned to expect also. Just think, the level of corruption will be vastly greater under Hillary.

... and then destroy the lap top and declare it over by the weekend.

I don't think it's going to be that easy.

1. Nobody will believe them.

2. This isn't a simple matter of "destroying a laptop." The e-mail files they found were probably not on this computer, but in a cloud storage location that was accessible through the computer.

3. The story from a couple of years ago, involving a hack of 500 million Yahoo accounts, makes it impossible to know who else might have these e-mails.

4. Too many hands in law enforcement (NYPD, multiple FBI field offices, etc.) have seen this information.

5. If the Wikileaks dumps of John Podesta's e-mails have told these people anything, it's that they have to go through their lives with the expectation that every one of these e-mails is eventually going to end up in the public domain.

I doubt it would be greater, just much more apparent.

But what happens if some eyebrow raising emails are
copied by a few patriotic FBI agents and leaked?
I can dream.

Their game for now is to get it wrapped up and the case closed and get Hillary in the white house so they can keep control of the DOJ.

Sure the emails might show up later, but the life and death struggle for them is to keep the DOJ in corrupt hands to protect the corrupt.

I think a lot of people in law enforcement are looking at the Bundy case out in Oregon and wondering if that's their future if the citizenry believes the legal system is tainted.

This was an armed standoff with Federal law enforcement officers, and the defendants were cleared of all charges.

Not possible. They wouldn’t be able to gain the context in that short amount of time.

I’m assuming that after Comey took a dive in July, NYPD and the NYC office of FBI are leery enough of him, DOJ, et al, that they have multiple copies of everything, to hand to Pres. Trump by way of Rudy Giulianni.

Yeah, I don’t think they will get away with it. I am hopeful she will go down. Just saying what I think they will try and that I think its gonna get ugly.

This is all true.

But they may not be thinking rationally. Rather what ever it takes to win on the 8th. Then it all goes away.

re: #3

the proximate cause for the Yahoo hack were the Huma e mails

Remember that Obama and Clinton despise each other. Democrats don’t let that get in the way of doing their jobs, but I don’t think there will be any tears shed in the Obama administration if Clinton gets handcuffed and dragged by her diapers into an FBI van.

DID DOJ AND FBI BLOW OFF DEMOCRATIC SENATORS?......don't know about that but DID hear Bill Kristol on Bret Baier today say...."...we don't want the Clinton sleaze back in the White House..." and continued to say that "he" wasn't that bad......or words to that affect. He mentioned others but 'Ol elitist Kristol is finally seeing the light....I do wish he would along with the Koch brothers come out loud and clear for Donald Trump, a truly good American...Koch Brothers really owe good Americans an apology for helping to create the Republican bloodbath>

FBI has found evidence of serious crimes and showed it to DOJ attorneys.

They HAVE to drive forward, see where it goes.

There will be no statement before the election.

There is NO other reasonable explanation for Comey dropping his bomb Friday, nor for current DOJ acquiescence.

“I’m sure the compromised criminal Lynch is putting heat on Comey to whitewash this quickly, at Obama’s behest no doubt.”

that may not hold if wikileaks releases the actual huma emails

“Earnest said obama doesn’t believe comey was interfering in the election.”

That’s just Obola trying to make sure his half-breed a$$ is covered. He doesn’t like Hillary, and his “legacy” is more important to him that her election. I just hope it all degenerates into a wholesale pi$$ing contest where the whole RAT Party becomes a verbal free-fire zone. The “rule of holes” is being well-observed by Trump, and all of the RATS are busily digging with their trashy mouths. Reid, Carvile, Podesta, etc. are all ready to pop a blood vessel.
